Hi. This is Thesecret1070. I am an admin of this site. Edit as much as you wish, but one little thing... If you are going to edit a lot, then make yourself a user and login. Other than that, enjoy Villains Wiki!!!
B'orel was a Klingon male and an antagonist in the Star Trek: Enterprise novel Live by the Code.
He was not one of the Klingons affected by the Qu'vat virus which transformed millions of his fellow Klingons into more human-like Quch'Ha Klingons. Retaining his cranial ridges and other Klingon features, B'orel was part of the HemQuch majority in the Empire.
As a member of the Klingon High Council in the 2160s, B'orel was one of the leaders of the persecution of the Quch'Ha Klingons, wanting to either drive them out of the Empire's space or commit genocide against the Quch'Ha, who were putting up quite the fight against the HemQuch due to their possession of automated Ware drones. Even after B'orel obtained the Ware's destruct code and destroyed the Ware drones, the Quch'Ha continued fighting hard against their oppressors.
Feeling that the Empire could no longer afford the ongoing division, newly selected Chancellor Khorkal decided to invite the leaders in the disputes between the two groups of Klingons to the council to parlay. B'orel represented the HemQuch while General K'Vagh represented the Quch'Ha. Injured in a recent battle, K'Vagh was allowed a cha'DIch to fight in his place. While his fellow General Kor was sizing up B'orel and tried to decide if he would volunteer, Captain Laneth volunteered and faced B'orel in single combat.
Being ridiculously easy to provoke, B'orel left himself wide open to a counterattack by Laneth, who was able to slip a poisoned blade into B'orel's torso, killing the man. While the others made the politically expedient move of crying out the traditional death cry over B'orel's remains, Laneth did not join in feeling it was wasted on someone as vile as B'orel. By defeating B'orel Laneth had secured the right of Quch'Ha Klingons to remain in the Empire. Further, K'Vagh was allowed to take B'orel's seat on the council, and served as the voice of the Quch'Ha on the council.
