Bárbara is a character and a minor antagonist in Totalmente Demais. She is Wesley's former girlfriend and a former friend of both Jennifer and Janaína.
She is portrayed by Pally Siqueira.
Biography[]
Not much is known about Barbara's past life, unless she was born in Curicica. At some point in the plot she met Wesley Jennifer and Janaína but was never related to them until then.
Totalmente Demais[]
Bárbara is Wesley's dream girl and most popular girl in school, she is seen for the first time having lunch at school, Wesley invites her for a walk, Barbara asks where and he says it might be around, but she says that out there meant in the same neighborhood square, she is disappointed. Wesley confronts Cascudo for wanting to go out with Jennifer, his sister. Cascudo calls Bárbara to go to the beach, and she goes excited on the bike, Wesley and Jennifer get upset.
On the night of the community ball, she and Wesley dance together, he sees Jennifer again with Cascudo, Bárbara says he should worry less about her and let her be happy too, Wesley ignores for a moment and goes back to having fun with the girl. But when Jennifer goes on his bike for a ride, Wesley goes after her and takes her home boring Barbara and Cascudo again.
The Physical Education teacher at school, Montanha begins teaching and assembles an Athletics team, Wesley begins to improve his performance, wins a medal in the first school competition and finally begins dating Bárbara, who is proud of it and datings him because he is now popular, Cascudo and Jennifer also date, Bárbara is jealous of Janaína, a team girl and friend of theirs, but it doesn't matter much. One day, Wesley, Janaína and Mountain are leaving school, when they see Durão's car, Cascudo's uncle who is fleeing the police after being denounced ill-treatment and child exploitation, intentionally they try to run over Mountain but Wesley throws himself in front to save the teacher and ends up getting run over, Mountain and the others are panicking and Bárbara and Janaína cry and scream.
Wesley is taken to the hospital, and wakes up the next day, he doesn't feel his legs and cries saying wants to go home, he wants to see Bárbara but she's absent. After a few days, Bárbara is seen at school talking to some people, Jennifer and Janaína ask why she no longer appeared in the hospital, because Wesley misses him and wants to see her, Bárbara lies that her life is complicated at the moment, Janaína and Jennifer pretend to understand and leave.
A few days after Wesley left the hospital, he goes to school and attends a wheelchair athletes competition, he sees Barbara talking to Micael and gets upset, Barbara gets upset too.
