Ba'al is a character featured in the popular webcomic The Last Halloween. Despite being a minor antagonist, Ba'al plays a significant role in the storyline.[1]

Background and Role[]

Ba'al is primarily known for their involvement in the resurrection of the ghoul Sherly. They are also recognized as a member of a group of monsters considered "high-ranking" within their community. This distinction sets them apart from other creatures in the webcomic's universe.

Throughout the series, Ba'al demonstrates a dismissive attitude towards Mona's group, initially not taking them seriously. This indifference is showcased through their casual disposal of Mona's friends, displaying a ruthless and cruel nature. He kills Robert by crushing his head, leaving only his arm.

Encounter with Mona[]

Despite their initial arrogance, Ba'al meets their demise when faced with Mona's resourcefulness and determination. Mona, the protagonist, merges her scythe with the immortal arm of The Doll, enabling her weapon to overcome Ba'al's immortality. This clever tactic proves to be Ba'al's downfall, as they are ultimately defeated by Mona and her allies.

Legacy[]

Ba'al's character serves as an example of the complexities within The Last Halloween's world, showcasing the diverse range of beings and their respective abilities. Their defeat highlights the importance of strategy and ingenuity in overcoming seemingly insurmountable challenges.

Ba'al's presence in The Last Halloween adds depth to the narrative, contributing to the dynamic and engaging storyline crafted by the webcomic's creator.
