Mary Dahl, better known as Baby Doll, is a major antagonist in the TV series Kite Man: Hell Yeah, a spin-off of the Harley Quinn TV series.
She is voiced by Maria Bamford, who previously voiced Shriek from CatDog, and Mrs. Beady in the Barnyard franchise.
History[]
Background[]
Mary was born with a unique condition called systemic hypoplasia, which prevented her from aging past 12. Because of this, she was perfect for the role of Baby-Doll, the lead actress in the sitcom of the same name. During her career, she directed at least one episode. However, after the show's cancellation, Mary sued her parents into homelessness, and began to use her persona of Baby Doll as a criminal idenity.
Kite Man, Hell Yeah[]
Mary was eventually hired as the manager to Villigan's, a villain-themed franchise of bars which had opened a new location in Gotham near Noonan's, where Kite Man and Golden Glider had set up shop. Needing them out of the way, Baby Doll made it her mission to ruin Noonan's. She sent Kite Man a gift basket which had both a bug and a remote bomb inside.
Baby Doll would later send henchment to ambush Glider, Malice, and Queen of Fables at a spa, while attempting to kill Kite Man with the explosives. However, Golden Glider would escape, while Kite Man was able to toss away the bomb at the last second, which instead destroyed Villigan's front door. Infuriated, Baby Doll attacked where she gloated that Glider was dead. Infuriated, Kite Man began to beat her up, which was posted on social media, putting Kite Man in negative light.
