Bacaria is a minor antagonist in the fifth season of Cobra Kai. He is one of Kim Da-Eun's finest sensei's who is recruited by Terry Silver to help Cobra Kai's expansion.
He is portrayed by Craig Henningsen.
Biography[]
Bacaria is first shown getting off a private jet along with the other sensei's as they await arrival of Kim Da-Eun, who had been recruited by Terry Silver on his plans to expand the dojo nationally and worldwide. As Terry Silver took over Topanga Karate and turned it under new management on the Cobra Kai name, Bacaria is ordered by Silver to give students a thermos if they choose to quit the dojo as a "complimentary measure", though most of them decide to stay by choosing a gi from Odell as a means to join Cobra Kai, which they do so. Later, after Johnny Lawrence and Chozen Toguchi overpower Hyan-Woo, Bacaria was present along with other senseis led by Kim Da-Eun, which resulted in Johnny and Chozen leaving after realizing they were outnumbered.
Throughout the days, Bacaria mostly observed Cobra Kai's training sessions at their flagship dojo based on Encino. When Terry Silver decides to qualify his dojo to the Sekai Taikai so he can expand Cobra Kai worldwide, which was overseen by Gunther Braun, Bacaria is shown holding a wooden board that Kenny Payne was able to land a kick on. He oversaw the matches between Hawk and Kenny, and later, the girls' match between Samantha LaRusso and Devon Lee. Although Cobra Kai was able to qualify, Miyagi-Do is nonetheless qualified because the organizers have been impressed with their teachings.
Bacaria was later present seeing Tory punch a stone dummy by Kim Da-Eun as a punishment for not showing up for her match against Samantha LaRusso, seemingly showing no pity on her as she injured her right hand leaving her bleeding. When Johnny, Chozen, and Mike Barnes invade Terry Silver's mansion, Bacaria was shown knocking out Barnes with a metal trophy while he was off-guard. Bacaria and the rest of the sensei's continously beat Johnny Lawrence up, but was eventually overpowered by him when he saw a sonogram of his future baby that allowed him to regain the strength to fight back. Bacaria was eventually defeated when Johnny threw him towards the TV screen in Silver's weapon room. It is unknown what happened to him after that.
