Biography[]
Leroy Brown was known throughout the south side of Chicago as the baddest man in town, with the women swooning over him and the men being rather intimidated by his presence. Leroy would spend his days gambling, making love to women and showing off his expensive rings and outfit. One day, while Leroy was gambling, he spotted a woman named Doris who tickled his fancy, but when he tried to make a move on her, her husband beat Leroy so hard that by the time they were pulled away from each other, Leroy "looked like a jigsaw puzzle with a couple of pieces gone". Whether or not Leroy's status as "the baddest man in town" was perpetuated by the people of South Chicago after he lost a bar fight to a nobody is unknown.
