Baihu is a minor antagonist of the manga Record of Ragnarok Forbidden Legend - Apocalypse of The Gods, a spin-off of the manga/anime series Record of Ragnarok.
Baihu is a God in the Chinese Pantheon and one of the members of the Four Beasts, a group of four Gods led by Zhuque where each God represents an animal of the Chinese constellation. Baihu is also, along with his companions, the best assassin in the Heavens.
Appearance[]
Baihu is a humanoid-looking God with short, bushy hair and sideburns long enough to reach halfway down his cheeks. He wears a sleeveless shirt with tiger stripes on the edges, long metal cuffs, long ankle-length pants with tiger stripes on the bottom, and Chinese shoes. He has very sharp nails.
Personality[]
Baihu is a very arrogant and self-confident Deity, who firmly believes in his abilities and skills as an assassin, to the point of going against someone like Indra without hesitation. When witnessing a battle, he tends to underestimate what he is seeing and is easily surprised, and if he is faced with someone whose presence is as threatening as Morrígan, he feels it all.
Biography[]
Baihu is a God of the Chinese Pantheon belonging to the Four Beasts, a group of four Gods led by Zhuque who are the best assassins in the Heavens, who always manage to complete their task even by cheating sometimes.
Following the proclamation of first the Ragnarok Tournament and then the Apocalypse Tournament, Zhuque is entered into the Apocalypse Tournament and Baihu, along with the other two members of the Four Beasts, remain in the stands to watch the matches. All watching together as Cú Chulainn and Ra-Horakhty clash, which ends with Cú Chulainn winning, a victory so surprising that Baihu, Qinglong and Xuanwu are convinced that Ra had held back, which is denied by Zhuque and pointed out by Morrígan, whose mere presence leaves Baihu stunned. Morrígan revealing that she intends to kill Cú Chulainn, even outside the Apocalypse Tournament if necessary, and that if a way is not found to counteract the Gáe Bolg Cú Chulainn will win the Tournament.
When it is time for Zhuque to fight Indra in the Round of 16, Baihu, Qinglong and Xuanwu are sent to kill Indra or at least keep him out of the ring so Zhuque can win by disqualification. Indra is not afraid and faces them, managing to defeat all three without being injured. However, Xuanwu manages to hold him down until the moment of disqualification, but surprisingly Zhuque reaches them and, bringing a camera with him, decides to face Indra personally inside the arena.
Powers and Abilities[]
Overall Abilities: As a God, Baihu possesses physical abilities far superior to those of any ordinary Human. His body cannot be damaged by mortal weapons, however it can still be damaged by unarmed attacks from individuals with superhuman strength and Divine Weapons. For the same reason, Baihu is unable to die due to old age. However, Baihu suffers the presence of those stronger than him such as Morrígan.
Divine Strength, Durability and Agility: Baihu is a physical fighter, using his strength and agility to strike his targets. He also possesses considerable stamina, as Baihu took several hits from Indra but still managed to stay standing. However, Baihu was unable to defeat Indra even when supported by Qinglong and Xuanwu.
Assassination Skill: Baihu and his companions are known as the best professional assassins in the Heavens and have never failed a mission, even if they are willing to cheat to complete it.
