Personality[]
Seemingly once a healthy and ordinary member of society, Baldrick Pumpernickle always housed a resentment towards his boss, Master Julian, for his constant belittlement. This hidden anger would boil into pure psychopathy, revealing a methodical and murderous soul. He is able to switch his persona on and off at a whim, often delighting in toying with investigators, following his murders.
Biography[]
Baldrick was born to an identical twin brother, Ruben. The two remained close into their adult years, once happily vacationing to a beach together.
In his adult years, Baldrick would find himself employed as a butler to Master Julian Crow, a wealthy entrepreneur, where he would live in the spare bedroom. One fateful night would find them together in a Fantasy Football league held by Julian. However, Julian refused to pay Baldrick the fee, dismissing the notion under the opinion that paying Baldrick as his employee was sufficient. Later, in the house's garage, Julian handed Baldrick a note, under the pretence of it being his owed money. However, this turned out to be a rude I.O.U., mocking Baldrick. In a fit of rage, he punched his master to the ground, and with an ice scraper, decapitated Julian.
Following this, Baldrick was imprisoned for over a year. He somehow managed to email his identical twin brother, Ruben, from within prison, seeking his assistance once he escapes. Ruben, who had assumed the role of Julian's butler, reluctantly declined, citing his employers being uncomfortable housing their attempted murderer.
A few days later, Baldrick successfully escaped, and made his way to Master Julian's house. He stayed there for several days in a hidden room, planning his next move. Upon hearing Ruben discussing plans for a Halloween party with Julian, Baldrick concocts a plan. Using a smoke machine he found Ruben had bought for the party in the shed, he loaded it with smashed peanuts, of which Ruben is deadly allergic. Activating the some machine in his face, Ruben died after inhaling the peanut-infused smoke.
Baldrick was then free to assume Ruben's identity, with Julian none the wiser. However, his ego betrayed him, feeling the need to impersonate a police officer, showboating the genius of this killer, toying with investigators. Ultimately, despite the complexity of the case, two of the six investigators would come to the conclusion that Baldrick killed Ruben, once again sending him to prison.
