Banana Boom-Boom is the secondary antagonist of the Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir episode "Queen Banana". It is a giant gorilla-like Sentimonster created by Shadow Moth to assist Queen Banana.
Appearance[]
Banana Boom-Boom’s body is a giant gorilla with large muscles who has the form of a banana-themed gorilla. His eyes are red with a purple sclera, his face is pale with black V-shaped eyebrows and two sharp teeth. Queen Banana’s car fits perfectly into Banana Boom-Boom’s head. He carries five bananas around his chest.
Powers and abilities[]
Banana Boom-Boom can throw giant bananas at people that turns them into bananas. He is also extraordinarily strong. He destroys the roof of the cinema where the movie is being shown.
Biography[]
It is a Sentimonster created by Shadow Moth for his Akumatized villain Queen Banana. In the season 4 episode "Queen Banana" she wants a gorilla , that can throw giant bananas that explode. Cat Noir uses his cataclysm on him by accident. This makes him go out of control with anger. When he is struck by Vesperia’s (Zoé Lee – half-sister to Chloé Bourgeois) venom he becomes immobilized. In the end, he disappears after Ladybug, Cat Noir & Vesperia defeat Queen Banana and de-akumatized her.
Trivia[]
- Banana Boom-Boom's design is heavily similar to Gorizilla, a previous gorilla-like Akumatized villain.
- So far, it is the only Sentimonster in the series that is not given its name by the holder of the Peacock Miraculous, but rather their Amokotized target, as Queen Banana is the one who decides on the name Banana Boom-Boom. Notably, Shadow Moth never refers to him by name at all.
