~ The trio threating Yurik

Three Bandits-Extortionists are minor antagonists[1] in the Ukrainian FPS Survival Horror video game S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.

The trio are bandits disguised as Loners to seemingly rob and intimidate rookies.

Personalities[]

Despite their small appearance, from the Yurik's robbery scene it was shown that all three of them are violent and aggressive thugs.

Appearances[]

All three wear a regular black bandit trench coat, turtle-neck inner jacket and a mask that covers their faces

Biographies[]

Mechenyj encounters the trio immediately after arriving at Garbage, where he sees how a trio of Loners attempted to rob Yurik, another Loner, Yurik after spotting Mechenyj immediately revels their true identities as bandits, which causes a shootout[2].

The player can save Yurik and kill the trio, as a result Yurik would tell Mechenyj about the Bandits' issue at Garbage, and would ask him to help his friends to fight them.

Powers & Skills[]

  • Gunmanship: Each members posses a different weapon, a PMm, a PB-1s and Viper 5.
  • Disguise Intuition (Implied): The fact that they hid their identities as bandits and appeared as free stalkers, might be a way that they used to trick rookies.
  • Intimidation: The trio didn't tried to kill Yurik on-site, but rather tried to intimidate him, and maybe, even exploit him in the future.

References[]

  1. The trio aren't hostile to the player up until Yurik won't revel their identities as bandits, which means they will remain neutral to the player if Yurik dies before reveling their identities
  2. Interestingly, the trio are technically Loners, which might cause a bag. If the player kills Yurik, before he revels their identities as bandits, the trio will remain neutral to the player and might even join Bes's Group, that protects the junkyard from other bandits.
