Bane is an antagonist in the animated TV series Batman: The Brave and the Bold. He is a criminal who uses the chemical Venom to give himself super-strength.
He was voiced by Michael Dorn.
Appearance[]
He wears a blue and black shirt with a grey belt and a red button in the middle, he wears a mask with red eyes and a green tube that pumps Venom into him, he has black gloves with grey circles in them, he wears a grey object over his head and he has a zipper in his mouth that cane be opened to reveal his mouth.
Biography[]
In "Menace of the Conqueror Cavemen" he is fleeing from Batman and Wildcat in a yellow raincoat and Batman throws a Batarang at him and traps him to a pillar, but he injects himself with Venom and attacks Batman and Wildcat at the subway station he manages to kick Batman down to the train tracks, Wildcat tries to fight him but he is overpowered and Bane prepares to kill him but Batman grapples him onto the train tracks and tries to unplug the tube, but he is overpowered by Batman too, however, Wildcat finds a Batarang inside a pillar and throws it at Bane's Venom tube, the Venom leaks onto the metallic tracks and electrocutes Bane, he is turned back to his normal size and defeated.
Later on, he teamed up with Killer Croc, Blockbuster and Solomon Grundy to steal a giant golden statue, Shazam (disguised as Batman) arrived to defeat them but was overpowered by Bane and Blockbuster.
Bane and Blockbuster later had a run-in with Scooby-Doo and Shaggy who squirted ketchup and mustard onto them.
