Bane (Justice League Doom)

Bane is a major antagonist in the 2012 film Justice: League Doom. He is a member of the Legion Of Doom and an enemy of Batman who uses the chemical Venom to make himself stronger.

He is voiced by Carlos Alazraqui who also played Denzel Crocker in the Fairly OddParents, Atomic Flounder and Boat Jacker in SpongeBob SquarePants, Admiral Razorbeard in Rayman: The Animated Series, Dr. Feelbetter and Morg in Phineas and Ferb, Big D in A Turtle's Tale 2: Sammy's Escape from Paradise, and Lasombra in Hey Arnold!.

Appearance[]

Bane wears a black mask a white middle with red eyes, and a red tube that injects Venom into him, he wears a black shirt and black pants, and a wristband for injecting Venom into him.

Biography[]

He is first seen wandering the swamp with a GPS, looking for the Hall Of Doom, but he is attacked by a crocodile, but he eventually manages to snap the crocodile's neck, and is then greeted by Star Sapphire and Metallo. He warns them that if it is an elaborate ambush, that they won't fair any better than the crocodile, but they begin introducing Bane to Cheetah and Ma'alefa'ak as the Hall Of Doom rises up from the water, and the villains enter it.

Vandal Savage welcomes them inside the Hall Of Doom, and tells them his plan to defeat the Justice League, and will pay them money if they succeed.

Bane robs Bruce Wayne's parents' of their graves and when Bruce finds out, he is stricken with anger, saying that whoever is responsible is going to pay for their actions, however, Bane disguises himself as a man with an umbrella and uses his Venom to get the upper hand on Bruce, knocking him into their graves and throwing heavy objects at him, he then traps him inside the coffin, luckily, Bruce finds brass knuckles and breaks the coffin open, escaping.

When the Justice League invaded the Hall Of Doom, he and the other members fought their respective enemies, Bane's being Batman, Bane fought Batman in a location with boxes, Bane juiced himself up on Venom and then began to fight Batman, he slammed him on one of the boxes and through him on the ground, Bane began to throw boxes at Batman, but he dodged the boxes and began to punch Bane, but Bane headbutted Batman and held him in a chokehold and threw him at a box, he attempted to stomp on him but Batman dodged him and Bane held Batman in a chokehold again, Batman threw a Batarang at Bane's Venom tube and kicked him away, he began to revert back to his normal form and Batman kicked him down, he was then taken back to Arkham Asylum.

Trivia[]

Even after Bane trapped him in with his parent' bodies, Batman wasn't that angry and simply cut Bane's Venom tube.
In this movie, Venom is red, not green.
His mask looks a bit different compared to most version, but stays mostly the same.
- Versions with his mouth exposed include DCAU, Arkhamverse, Telltale, and Young Justice.
