Bang-Bang is a minor antagonist in "Born Into Bad News".
He was portrayed by Ron Stevens Sr.
Background[]
Bang-Bang was a gang member for the Latin Kings. During that time, he and a member Drugstore sold dope on the streets, but their money would be stolen out of there stash house by Dave Roland, Carter Perry and several other officers from Jackson Park.
Born Into Bad News[]
Bang-Bang and Drugstore would be approached by Dave Roland. Roland told them to kill both Carter and his uncle, Ron Perry, while his men deal with another cop, Erin Lindsay. Roland would threaten them with being charged with drugs and get them sent to prison for 20 years. The two would find Carter and his uncle. The two would approach them while wearing hoodies, pretending to be Vice Lords. They would inside the car Carter and his uncle were in but only managed to kill Ron as Carter ducked for cover. The two would then drive away with Carter firing at them. Drugstore and Bang-Bang would hide inside his uncle's night club but that didn't stop Intelligence from finding them. They would hold both Drugstore and Bang-Bang. Voight would have Bang-Bang lay on a sofa and asked him why they went after Carter because he robbed them or because Roland gave them orders. However, the latter decided to torture Bang-Bang instead about who ordered the shooting. Bang-Bang gave in telling them that Roland blackmailed them with prison time if they did not do it. He further explained that they were told to handle Carter while Roland and his crew went after a female cop by themselves.
He was ultimately charged for murder, and attempted murder.
