The Banished Knight is a supporting character in the 2024 Roblox RPG game Block Tales, serving as a major antagonist of the game's first chapter, Storming the Castle, and a supporting character of the game's third chapter, All Hallows' Eve.
He was once a trusted and loyal knight of the Cruel King, but after failing him too many times, he was banished from the Blackrock Kingdom. He would eventually make it his goal to regain the Cruel King's trust by fighting the player to prevent them from further intervening with the King's plans to obtain the Ice Dagger. After failing to defeat them and with the Cruel King's eventual death, the Banished Knight decided to relocate in the Manor, now passing off his knowledge to the player by selling them cards.
Appearance[]
The Banished Knight is a Robloxian who has white/pale blue skin, a black torso, and dark blue legs. He wears a black helmet and chainmail armor.
Biography[]
Long ago, the Banished Knight was one of the many loyal knights who served the Cruel King in the Blackrock Kingdom. However, following many failures for him, he was subsequently banished from kingdom, and the Banished Knight wanted to make it his mission by performing a heroic act to regain the king's trust.
On the player's path to the Blackrock kingdom, they encounter the Banished Knight alongside their path who proclaims that he will strike them down for the king so that he can regain his trust. He is unsuccessful in his attempt to fight and defeat the player, and after the Cruel King is defeated and dies, the Banished Knight abandons his plans now that he is left without a leader and now takes up residence in the Manor.
He encounters the player again inside the Manor and states since he failed his initial goal, he shall instead pass off his knowledge to them by selling them cards, no longer holding a grudge again him. The Banished Knight can later be fought in Floors 14 and 16, however this doesn't affect the storyline over all.
Trivia[]
- The Banished Knight is the only Chapter 1 boss who does not die. The Supreme Ant exploded after her defeat, the Spiky Killbot was destroyed after the player used a bomb on it, the Sentient Statue crumbled to pieces, and the Cruel King disintegrated down to his skeleton. (though is optionally revived via his call card)
