Baoht Z'uqqa-mogg, also known as The Bringer of Pestilence, is a Great Old One.

Overview

Baoht Z'uqqa-mogg once lived on the planet Shaggai, but he had to flee his home after it was destroyed it was destroyed by the Outer God Ghroth. Baoht Z'uqqa-mogg escaped to Earth, where he still resides today.

The entity resembles a powerful winged scorpion-like monstrosity with an ant-like head, and his worshipers consist of beings called ghouls, a race of cannibalistic humanoids. However, he is said to have been worshipped in Syria under the name "Mot".

Trivia

  • Baoht Z'uqqa-mogg was not created by H.P. Lovecraft himself, but the entity is a later addition by Thomas M. K. Stratman.
  • Baoht Z'uqqa-mogg is one of the only two Great Old Ones residing on Shaggai. The other is The Worm That Gnaws In The Night.
