Bara Builder is the Body Builder-themed Machine Beast of the Machine Empire Baranoia serving Emperor Bacchus Wrath and a minor antagonist in Chouriki Sentai Ohranger; serving as the main antagonist of the 19th episode.
He is voiced by Jūrōta Kosugi who previously voiced Saigan in Ninja Sentai Kakuranger and later voiced Yumebakura in Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, Robogog of the 10-sai in Tensou Sentai Goseiger, Dumbbellloid in Toukmei Sentai Go-Busters and Yokai Wanyūdō in Shuriken Sentai Ninninger. However, he is more well known as Kwan Lee in Mobile Suit Gundam, Pale Bayleaf in Sonic X, Tetsurou Okonogi in the Higurashi When They Cry anime adaptation, Mr. Heartland in Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal Professor Clover in Mysterious Joker, Arlong in One Piece and Lyric the Last Ancient in the Japanese dubs of Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric and Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal.

As with all members of the Machine Empire Baranoia, Bara Builder was built as a giant Machine Beast by Emperor Bacchus Wrath and Empress Hysteria some 65 million years ago on Planet Baranoia. Along with the rest of the Machine Beasts and the Barlo Soldiers, Bara Builder helped them to devastate and conquer multiple planets. Bara Builder was a dangerously powerful Machine Beast, being able to drain the energy from anything from power plants to machines using either cables or a special tail and then use it to make him almost unstoppable. Due to this ability making him undefeatable, Bara Builder becomes a favourite of Bacchus Wrath who kept him in mind for future schemes.
Ohranger[]
Millions of years later, in 1999, Emperor Bacchus Wrath and his Empire return to Earth and launch an invasion of Earth where they rally thier forces but the Ohrangers arise to oppose them.
After the deaths of Seiichi Kuroda and Bara Ivy, Bacchus Wrath sends Bara Builder to destroy Ohranger Robo so the giant Machine Beast attacks the Tokyo Power Station; draining all power across the city before Ohranger Robo arrives. Even in an incomplete and under-powered form, Bara Builder is evenly matched for Ohranger Robo and assumes a more powerful form that proved a match until they utilised the Super Crown Sword. However, by pretending to surrender, Bara Builder is able to stab Ohranger Robo with his tail; completely draining its energy to gain its full power and devastating the Giant Robo with a lightning barrage powerful enough to cripple it and destroy the Super Crown Sword.
With nothing to stop him, Bara Builder is sent on a rampage to kill all humans but Kocha overhears a conversation about a thus far unused Red Puncher so Bara Builder and Bacchus Wrath confront Goro. When the other Ohrangers intervene by blasting him with the King Smashers, they are grabbed, thrown away and hit them with his lightning.but it buys Goro enough time to gain control over Red Puncher. However, it is still unstable so Bara Builder manages to drain it like Ohranger Robo. When the spirit of (who had been killed during Red Puncher's previous use) appears though, Goro manages to gain full control of the Giant Robo and destroy the energy draining cable. Back to full power, Bara Builder is beaten back by a barrage of punches before withstanding even his powerful lightning attack and killed with the Puncher Gatling attack.
Personality[]
Bara Builder was an extremely violent and destructive Machine Beast of very few words who obeyed orders without question and was intensely loyal to Bacchus Wrath. He was also crafty, pretending to bow and surrender to trick the Ohrangers.

- Power: Bara Builder was one of the most powerful Machine Beasts of all, utterly decimating and crippling Ohranger Robo as well as temporarily outmatching Red Puncher.
- Strength: Bara Builder could pick up and toss the four Ohrangers that shot him with ease.
- Durability: Bara Builder was unfazed by the Horn Head's Taurus Dive and Taurus Thunder, shots from the Dogu Head, multiple slashes from the Super Crown Sword, a kick to the gut from Red Puncher and a punch to the head from Red Puncher.
- Armour: After achieving his ultimate form, Bara Builder gained a large set of armour on his chest that proved immune to four King Smashers and dozens of punches from Red Puncher.
- Depth Perception: Bara Builder had depth perception despite only having one eye.
- Balance: Bara Builder remained upright despite the strong earthquake caused by Red Puncher emerging.
- Energy Absorption: Bara Builder's signature ability where he could wrap its cables around power sources or stab his tail into enemies in order to drain electricity and gain even more power.
- Cable Launch: Bara Builder could extend brown cables from his body that could drain power from any power source they touched, making him more powerful.
- Power Draining: Bara Builder's main ability where he could use his tail to drain his enemies of their power by stabbing it into them.
- Energy Balls: Bara Builder could fire pink balls from his face which were strong enough to knock back Ohranger Robo.
- Ear Missiles: Bara Builder could fire the ear-like spikes on his head as projectiles although the Super Crown Sword destroyed them.
- Lightning Barrage: Bara Builder's most powerful attack where he launched blue lightning from every spike on his body. This caused enormous explosions, took down four Ohrangers with one hit, crippled Ohranger Robo and broke the Super Crown Sword. The attack was so devastating that it would take several two whole episodes to repair the damage to Ohranger Robo.
Arsenal[]
- Fists: Although it had no weapons of its own, Bara Builder could fight off the enemy with its bare hands.
- Power Tail: Bara Builder's tail had long thin wired tail with a pointed tip that he could use to sneak up on and stab into the enemy. Using this tail, he could drain and devastate the enemy Giant Robo by sucking up all its power.
