Bara Gear was the gear-themed Machine Beast of the Machine Empire Baranoia and the secondary antagonist of the Chouriki Sentai Ohranger team-up movie Chouriki Sentai Ohranger: Olé vs Kakuranger.
He was voiced by late Tatsuyuki Jinnai, who also later voiced Guirail in Denji Sentai Megaranger.
Biography[]
Past[]
As with all members of the Machine Empire Baranoia, Bara Brain was built by Emperor Bacchus Wrath and Empress Hysteria some 65 million years ago. Along with the rest of the Machine Beasts, Bara Brain helped them to devastate and conquer multiple planets.
Ohranger[]
Millions of years later, in 1995, Emperor Bacchus Wrath and his Empire return to Earth and launch an invasion of Earth where they rally thier forces but the Ohrangers arise to oppose them.
Timeranger[]
Sixteen years later, the Timerangers embark on a journey to understand the previous Sentai teams by using the TimeJets to revisit thier battles. They arrive in the time of Ohranger just in time to see Bara Gear being struck by the Giant Roller.
Trivia[]
- Despite being in a team-up movie, Bara Gear is not cannon to the Super Sentai franchise as the presence of both Bacchus Wrath and OnBlocker in the film would not be possible in the Ohranger timeline.
