Bara Madillo is the Armadillo-themed Machine Beast of the Machine Empire Baranoia serving Emperor Bacchus Wrath and a minor antagonist in Chouriki Sentai Ohranger; serving as the main antagonist of the 22nd episode.
He is voiced by Atsuo Mori who previously voiced Obular Brain and Bomber Brain in Choujuu Sentai Liveman, Twisted Bōma, Great Jaw Bōma, Dogu Bōma and Heinous Bōma in Kousoku Sentai Turboranger, Hammer Chameleon in Choujin Sentai Jetman and Dora Knight and Dora Unicorn in Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger.

Past[]
As with all members of the Machine Empire Baranoia, Bara Madillo was built as a giant Machine Beast by Emperor Bacchus Wrath and Empress Hysteria some 65 million years ago on Planet Baranoia. Along with the rest of the Machine Beasts and the Barlo Soldiers, Bara Madillo helped them to devastate and conquer multiple planets. Bara Madillo was especially effective due to his virtually indestructible armor and ability to turn into an unstoppable ball, making him a Machine Beast admired by even Bacchus Wrath.
Ohranger[]
Millions of years later, in 1999, Emperor Bacchus Wrath and his Empire return to Earth and launch an invasion of Earth where they rally thier forces but the Ohrangers arise to oppose them.
When Ohranger Robo fully recovers after Bara Builder crippled it, Bacchus Wrath sends Bara Madillo to destroy it and Red Puncher due to his indestructible armour. Bara Madillo is first seen rampaging through Tokyo in ball form before going to the countryside where he meets and overwhelms Ohranger Robo and Red Puncher as Bacchus Wrath and Acha and Kocha watch. After assuming his true monster form and knocking Red Puncher out of the sky, he blasts them so they attempt to combine for the first time but it fails due to lacking a vital memory chip containing the information for how to combine which forces the Ohrangers to withdraw.
Later, Bara Madillo returns with some Barlo Soldiers to ambush the Ohrangers and Shigeru to destroy the computer containing the memory chip but fails due to Ohranger Robo's intervention although he quickly gains the upper-hand against it. When Goro returns in Red Puncher, even the Magna Puncher and Puncher Gatling attacks fail to hurt Bara Madillo but the computer chip had been able to print the data for the Giant Robos to combine onto Goro's back before Bacchus Wrath destroyed it. Using the information, Ohranger Robo and Red Puncher fuse into Buster Ohranger Robo which is finally able to penetrate Bara Madillo's armor and obliterate the Machine Beast with the Big Cannon Burst.
Personality[]
Bara Madillo was an extremely violent and destructive Machine Beast completely loyal to Bacchus Wrath that enjoyed destroying cities and causing suffering. However, he was incapable of speech aside from yells and laughs.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Power: Bara Madillo was the most powerful Machine Beast to appear up to that point, being far more durable than Bara Builder, Bara Boxer and Bara Kendama as the attacks that destroyed them did not even scratch him. He was singlehandidly able to force Ohranger Robo and Red Puncher into a stalemate without the need for a distraction like Bara Builder needed.
- Strength: Bara Madillo could knock Red Puncher out of the sky and knock around Ohranger Robo with single slashes from his claws as well as a kick.
- Durability: As his name implies, Bara Madillo had almost impenetrably thick blue scaled armour; being immune to by the Taurus Head’s Taurus Thunder, Red Puncher's Puncher Gatling and Magna Puncher finishing attacks without either so much as scratching him. It took the power of Buster Ohranger Robo's Big Cannon Burst to penetrate the Machine Beast's armour and destroy him.
- Agility: Bara Madillo was agile enough to roll from being thrown down by Ohranger Robo and then roll to his feet.
- Ball Transformation: Bara Madillo's signature ability where he could curl himself up and turn into an unstoppable and almost indestructible sphere at will. He could do this in mere seconds, allowing him to instantly transform in mid-air.
- Self-Propulsion: In his ball form, Bara Madillo could make himself roll forward and become an unstoppable force capable of demolishing entire parts of Tokyo.
- Bounce Attack: Bara Madillo could also bounce off the ground and slam into the enemy with enough force to knock back Red Puncher.
- Flight Attack: In his ball form, Bara Madillo could fly into the air and repeatedly slam into his enemies. These rams were strong enough to stagger Ohranger Robo and Red Puncher.
- Unpredictable: According to Bacchus Wrath, Bara Madillo was completely unpredictable in his ball form.
- Monster Transformation: Bara Madillo could also turn from his ball form back into his true form by uncurling his body.
- Self-Propulsion: In his ball form, Bara Madillo could make himself roll forward and become an unstoppable force capable of demolishing entire parts of Tokyo.
- Super Jumps: Bara Madillo could jump high and far into the air.
- Lightning Blasts: Bara Madillo could fire powerful blue lightning blasts from his eyes which were strong enough to knock Ohranger Robo and Red Puncher back with one hit.

- Claws: Being armadillo based, Bara Madillo had no weapons but possessed razor sharp claws that he would use to cut and slash his enemies.
