Bara Printer is the Camera and Printer-themed Machine Beast of the Machine Empire Baranoia serving Empress Hysteria and a minor antagonist in Chouriki Sentai Ohranger. He is a cameo antagonist in the 8th episode, the main antagonist of the 11th episode and a supporting antagonist in the 33rd.
He is voiced by Fumihiko Tachiki who later voices N-Gamio-Zeda in Kamen Rider Decade and Kamen Rider Core in Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider OOO & W Featuring Skull: Movie War Core but is beetter known as Gendo Ikari and Wattary Gilla from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Past[]
As with all members of the Machine Empire Baranoia, Bara Printer was built by Emperor Bacchus Wrath and Empress Hysteria some 65 million years ago on Planet Baranoia. Along with the rest of the Machine Beasts and the Barlo Soldiers, Bara Printer helped them to devastate and conquer multiple planets. Due to being considered an elite Machine Beast, Bara Printer was kept on the planet Daraura alongside Bara Missiler, Bara Darts and Bara Baby.
Ohranger[]
Millions of years later, in 1995, Emperor Bacchus Wrath and his Empire return to Earth and launch an invasion of Earth where they rally thier forces but the Ohrangers arise to oppose them.
Bara Printer is seen in silhouette on the planet Daraura when Bacchus Wrath selects Bara Missiler to be the test subject for Acha and Kocha's growth program.
After seeing a mother get angry with her refrigerator, Hysteria is disgusted by how humans treat machines so she sends Bara Printer to make them fall in love with machines to solve this issue and begin a plot to destroy the human race. He is first seen when he arrives on Earth and forces the woman from before to fall in love with her refrigerator before going around Tokyo and infecting many others. When he crashes a wedding though, Shouhei intervenes so Bara Printer summons Barlo Soldiers but the other Ohrangers arrive and defeat them although the Machine Beast swiftly overwhelms them and forces them to flee. He then meets Acha at the docks as Hysteria has sent him to become the target for human affection so they will accept Baranoian rule and destroy civilisation.
Together, after a brief encounter with Shouhei, they begin mass brainwashing people to shower Acha with affection but Shouhei leads Bara Printer to the docks where he is tricked into hypnotising himself. As a result, he falls in love with Acha who he manages to restrain until Kpcha blasts him away and breaks him from his own spell. In doing so though, Bara Printer's main power is useless so they fight the Machine Beast and some Barlo Soldiers until they reach a factory. Despite Bara Printer's strength, Shouhei overwhelms him with the Miracle Punch and Super Power Crusher before Goro finishes him off with the Giant Roller but Acha and Kocha then enlarge him. Forming Ohranger Robo, they are overwhelmed by the Machine Beast's firepower but equip the Taurus Head and overwhelm Bara Printer with the Taurus Dive and Taurus Thunder before killing him with the Crown Final Crash.
Much later, after the death of Bara Gūsuka, Emperor Bacchus Wrath executes his ultimate plan; recreating an army of past Machine Beasts (including Bara Printer) and upgrading them with the Magma Enhancement Program. However, the Ohrangers ultimately penetrate the cave system where the upgrades are taking place and destroy most of the monsters including Bara Printer by collapsing the cave on top of them.
Personality[]
Bara Printer is a single-minded and obsessive Machine Beast of few words who is willing to brainwash everyone on Earth for his masters. After accidentally brainwashing himself, Bara Printer became completely devoted to Acha.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Strength: Bara Printer is able to knock down Goro with one punch, throw off all five Ohrangers, grab and restrain Acha and knock Shouhei away with a punch. When giant, he knocks back Ohranger Robo with two punches.
- Durability: Bara Printer is undamaged by a jump punch from Shouhei, Acha hitting him with a pole, being shot by Kocha hard enough to destroy his inner machinery, being punched twice by Shouhei, the Miracle Punch, the Square Crusher's Super Power Crusher and a jump kick from Goro. When giant, Bara Printer was slammed and blasted by the Taurus Head’s Taurus Dive and Taurus Thunder but both only momentarily stunned him.
- Stability: Bara Printer stayed upright despite being rammed by the Taurus Head.
- Depth Perception: Bara Printer has depth perception despite only having one eye.
- Speech: Bara Printer can speak despite lacking an eye.
- Image Taking: Befitting his name, Bara Printer can take photos of objects so he can use the image to use in his signature power.
- Love Sight: Bara Printer's signature ability where he can hypnotise anyone into loving any machine that he tells them to by forcing them to look into his eye. He can also do this by firing blue energy beams from his single eye.
- Love Blasts: Bara Printer can also brainwash people by by shooting them with blue energy beams from his single eye.
- Energy Blasts: When giant, Bara Printer’s love beams instead deal severe damage; being able to knock back Ohranger Robo.

- Ballistic Blasts: Bara Printer can spray bullets from two holes under his eyes. These were strong enough to cause large explosions and take down all five Ohrangers with one barrage.
- Radar Vision: As seen when he chased down Shouhei, Bara Printer can enter a targeted scope-like overhead mode that allow him to target his enemies more effectively.
- Laser Blasts: Bara Printer can rapid fire green-blue lasers from the two holes under his eyes. These caused large explosions but failed to stop Shouhei.
- Super Speed: As seen when he fell in love with Acha, Bara Printer can run around at incredible and inhuman speeds.
- Laser Barrage: Mounted on Bara Printer’s right wrist is a blaster which could rapid fire blue lasers. These are strong enough to cause large explosions and knock down Shouhei.
- Bullet Blasts: Bara Printer can fire red-pink bullets from the blaster on his right arm that are strong enough to stun Ohranger Robo.
