Baron Mharti is the main antagonist of the 2008 game "Monster Lab". He was once a member of the Mad Science Alliance until he became interested in obtaining power over all mad science.

Baron Mharti is an average sized man with brown eyes, hair and mustache, and a big chin. He's clad in a blue tuxedo, with red clothing underneath, a belt with a buckle, white pants, brown boots, and a monocle.
Biography[]

Prior to the player arriving as an apprentice, Baron Mharti was once the fourth member of the Mad Science Alliance until he became interested in obtaining as much control over all three types of mad science. Fuseless, Sonderbar, and La Sombra fought over how to deal with their former member and split, leaving Fuseless in the castle.
While teaching the player the basics of being a mad scientist, Fuseless gets some mysterious signals that are being transmitted to the Baron via pumpkins and instructs the player to send their monster to Cobbleshire to deal with them. After the mayor, Neidervoten, reveals he was forced to allow the Baron to place a house in town, Fuseless sends the player to explore it, and it comes to life becoming Residentula.
After the player defeats the living house, Fuseless sends his monster, Gorbok, to take care of the Baron, because as he states, if his monster can beat Mharti's in combat, he'll be forced to surrender his power by order of the Mad Science Alliance. This plan is ruined when Mharti sends out his toughest creation, Thrunch who makes quick work of Gorbok, and he suggests he retired like the others did.
Fuseless sends the player to the Neverglades to recruit Dr. Sonderbar who says the swamp is being mutated via an unknown sorce of radiation, so they send a missile with a special de-radiation device but it fails to activate upon impact.
