History[]
Past[]
During a summer at River Jordan Camp near Miami, Florida, Alex Tilden, Boyd Fowler, Cole Harmon, Dan Mendell, and Eugene Greer met each other for the first time and quickly became good friends. During their time at the camp, Eugene convinced the others that they should kidnap and rape a young counselor-in-training named Emily Birch. After leading her to a nearby cabin, they all repeatedly raped her, except for Eugene who would be off to the side and yell to the others to "seize their desires". After committing the horrible act, they went outside and forced Emily to take their picture to remember the moment.
Throughout the years, they always kept in close contact with one another. Eugene changed his name to "Jordan Chase" after their summer camp and wrote several books, ironically becoming a famous motivational speaker, and hired Cole as his head of security after he was dishonorably discharged from the marines after severely beating a superior officer after they had a disagreement. Boyd became a dead animal pickup officer, Alex became a banker, and Dan became a dentist.
Boyd Fowler[]
The Barrel Girl Gang would then go on to occasionally kidnap a girl, rape and torture her for an entire week, Boyd would kill her and then dump their bodies into a swamp. This happened for twelve other women until one day Dexter Morgan inadvertently saved Lumen Pierce after killing Boyd Fowler when she witnessed him killing one of her former tormentors. Dexter would take pity on Lumen and agree to help her track down to kill every member of the Barrel Girl Gang and avenge herself and the other twelve victims.
Dan Mendell[]
After Lumen brings Dan at gunpoint to an abandoned warehouse, she asks him to reveal the names of the other members of the barrel girl gang, but he only insults her and she shoots him in the stomach. Dan then runs away and hides. Lumen then calls Dexter and he soon enough manages to find Dan by following his blood trail and he ties him up to start questioning him. At first, Dan pretends to be a completely innocent family man and acts like he doesn't even know who Lumen is.
After a brief skirmish, Lumen accidentally drops her phone and walks off, allowing Dan to steal it. He calls Jordan and warns him that Lumen is still alive. When Dexter hears this, he quickly snaps Dan's neck to kill him. Dexter then quickly thinks of a way to dispose of Dan's body since he can't untie him in time by strangling another murderer Dexter was going to kill, Lance Robinson, and pinning Dan's death on Lance. Vince Masuka determines that the two were "lovers" that had an unusual sexcapade that turned weird and violent, involving auto-erotic mummification.
Cole Harmon[]
Cole Harmon is seen at the dumpsite where Boyd Fowler stored all of their previous victims. He arrives with several workers who are unaware of what's inside the barrels they're loading onto a truck and he pays them once they're done. However, while Cole is driving back to Miami, a drunk driver rams into Cole's truck, spilling the barrels and the bodies of five of their previous victims. Cole is unharmed, so he wipes his fingerprints off the steering wheel and he runs off.
The next day, Miami Metro Police discover that the truck Cole was driving was registered to Jordan. Jordan and Cole arrive at the police department to stay on top of the case and clear things up with his truck, saying it was stolen. Dexter Morgan secretly takes pictures of both Cole and Jordan to show Lumen later. Dexter takes the department's attention away from Cole and Jordan by stashing Boyd's wallet underneath the seat of the Cole's truck. Vince Masuka finds it and they now focus on him so Lumen and Dexter can take on Alex, Cole and Jordan personally.
Cole and Jordan are brought into the station again the next day and Cole says that Boyd was only a fanatic that worshiped Jordan and he wasn't connected to either of them. In their car, Jordan congratulates Cole for putting all the blame on Boyd, but Cole reveals to Jordan that he wasn't the one who planted the wallet. At Cole's house, Dexter finds a picture of all the members of the Barrel Girl Gang when they were younger. Cole suddenly grabs Dexter from behind and asks who Dexter is, but Lumen manages to knock him out. They escape with Cole unable to recognize them.
The next day, Dexter sits at one of Jordan's seminars in a hotel so he can learn Cole's schedules and routines. Afterwards, Cole kindly greets Dexter and tells him that Jordan Chase wants to meet him in his suite. Dexter agrees reluctantly and both Cole and Dexter casually keep an eye on each other as they go to Jordan. Cole stands behind Dexter as he talks with Jordan about Arthur Mitchell, his wife Rita, and Dexter's son. The next day, Dexter attends another seminar and notices Cole talking with an attractive and young blonde woman, thinking he's planning for another victim.
Dexter sets up a kill room in his and Lumen's room, right next to Cole's room, and when Dexter hears a woman screaming in Cole's room he sneaks into Cole's room, only finding Cole is having consensual BDSM with the woman he spoke to earlier. Dexter gets agitated since the next day will be Jordan's last seminar at the hotel and their last chance to kill Cole.
During the final seminar, Cole leaves to do his rounds around the hotel and Dexter follows him but is stopped by Jordan who wants to talk with him further about his wife's death and his feelings about it. Dexter notices Lumen watching him from the lobby, who walks away and accidentally bumps into Cole, who immediately recognizes her as one of his previous victims. Cole starts following Lumen back to their hotel room and he busts in to try and silence her.
Dexter arrives just in time to knock Cole out with a sleeper hold and prepare him for his kill ritual. Dexter asks for the identities of the other members of the Barrel Girl Gang, but Cole smugly says "Huey, Dewey and Louie". After forcing him to look at all the pictures of the women Cole raped and killed, Dexter stabs Cole in the heart to kill him.
Alex Tilden[]
After Lumen Pierce discovers the identity of Alex Tilden from Emily Birch, the only other surviving woman the Barrel Girl Gang raped, she soon tells Dexter. When they search Alex's house, Lumen finds thirteen varying pieces of jewelry in a case that Alex stole and kept as trophies. One of the pieces used to belong Lumen's grandmother, so she takes it back.
Alex has a conversation with Jordan, scared about what "the vigilantes" will do to him if they catch him. Jordan tells him to calm down and that he has a plan, and tells Alex to continue about his days like normal. Alex agrees but as soon as he arrives home, he finds the videotape of Lumen and the other fourteen women being raped playing in his living room, and Lumen then reveals herself. Alex tries to run away to get his gun, but Dexter quickly sedates him.
Dexter and Lumen then construct the kill room and when Alex wakes up, he begs for his life to Lumen, but she only stabs him in the heart to kill him. In an act of kindness, Dexter allows Lumen to keep his blood slide.
Eugene Greer[]
After learning of Cole and Alex's deaths, he tells Emily to lure both Lumen and Dexter to her home, which she does. Once Lumen arrives, Jordan beats Emily to death with a fireplace poker and kidnaps Lumen, taking her back to River Jordan Camp where it all began. Dexter follows them and he's briefly captured and tied up, but he soon manages to stab Jordan in the foot and then knock him out.
Once Jordan wakes up strapped to a table, Dexter tells Lumen that she should be the one who kills Jordan, and she agrees. Jordan starts laughing at their attempts to kill him "politely" and tells him to be honest about murder being murder. Dexter then mocks him about his first name being "Eugene", to which Jordan angrily says "You think that's an insult? It's a compliment. It's a reminder as to how far i've come." and he's reminded that he's back where he started, only he's the one tied up and about to be killed this time. Jordan tell Lumen if she hadn't met him and the others, she would've never known she had it in her to kill someone. He mocks her once last time before Lumen stabs him in the heart, telling him "That's not just for me, that's for everyone you hurt."

- Cole Harmon - Having military experience, Cole would beat the women with whips and cut them with knives. He would also take off their blindfolds during his "turn" with them, then carefully take off and fold his suit jacket before starting his beatings.
- Dan Mendell - Dan was the one who would personally go out and pick their victims, mainly going to bars and clubs, subdue them, and bring them back to the others to rape, torture, and eventually kill.
- Jordan Chase - The founder of the gang, Jordan never personally touched any of the women, instead relishing in the psychological torment and ordering the other members on what to do to the women. He would also personally record all the rapes/murders so he could stay out of the shots.
