Dr. Barry Goodman, M.D., is a minor character in the crime drama series Breaking Bad and its prequel series Better Call Saul. He is the head doctor hired by Gustavo Fring as part of an emergency medical crew he had stationed in Mexico.
He was portrayed by JB Blanc.

Season 3[]
Barry meets with Mike Ehrmantraut after receiving a prior call from Gus and supplies him with cocaine. ("Sunk Costs")
Season 4[]
Barry and Victor check on Hector Salamanca, who is unconscious in his hospital room. Later, Barry updates Gus on Hector's condition and casually suggests seeking treatment from Johns Hopkins. ("Breathe")
Season 5[]
Gus assigns Barry to pick up Mike, who passed out after being beaten and stabbed by a group of thugs. Barry takes Mike to Mexico, treats his wounds, and advises him to stay until fully recovered, warning that he wouldn’t survive the journey home in his current condition. ("Dedicado a Max")
Season 6[]
While Sam cleans Gus’s gunshot wound, Mike informs them that Barry is on his way to provide further treatment, arriving in three hours. ("Point and Shoot")
Breaking Bad[]
Season 4[]
Barry and his team treat Gus for poisoning and Mike for gunshot wounds after their attack on Don Eladio and the Cartel. He initially prioritizes Gus, stating that Gus "pays his salary." Barry is known to have blood samples and complete medical histories for Gus, Mike, Jesse Pinkman, and possibly many others. ("Crawl Space")

A day after the events of "Face Off," Barry informs Mike of Gus’s death. ("Live Free or Die")
Trivia[]
- Barry is one of the few survivors of Gus' drug network in the series.
- Barry shares the same surname as Saul Goodman. However, they are not related, since Saul Goodman is only Jimmy McGill's professional name.
