The Batman Clone is a minor character in Batman: The Animated Series. It appears as a secondary antagonist in the episode "His Silicon Soul", voiced by Kevin Conroy.
The Batman Clone was the last clone that H.A.R.D.A.C. created before it self-destructed. However, the clone's memory got damaged and was incomplete, so it thought it was the real Batman. However, the clone began to question who he was after he got shot by a thug. Instead of blood, the circuitry in his body were heavily damage. Looking for answers, the Bat Clone confronted the creator of H.A.R.D.A.C.; Dr. Karl Rossum, who told it about its true origins.
Eventually, the clone found out what he was and went to search for the remains of H.A.R.D.A.C. However as soon as he found the remains, H.A.R.D.A.C. reactivated inside the Batman clone. He then informed the clone's objective and repaired the clone's damaged systems. After which, the clone went to the Batcave and attempted to reboot H.A.R.D.A.C. so it can rule the world, forcing humanity to obey him and eventually replace them. While it was able to perform H.A.R.D.A.C's objective, the one thing that it couldn't do was take a life. Batman found as the clone had the perfect opportunity to kill him, but the clone couldn't. The Batman Clone was created to be a perfect clone of Batman, which included having Batman's identity, secrets, combat skills and morals. So when the clone thought it killed the real Batman, it sacrificed itself to destroy the Bat-Computer, prevent H.A.R.D.A.C.'s reboot and revival.
With the Clone's sacrifice, Batman and Alfred questioned if the clone actually had a soul, a soul made out of silicon.
