The Beachmaster is the main antagonist of "The Elephant Seal," a segment in the Futurama episode "Naturama."
He is an elephant seal version of Bender Bending Rodríguez and the tyrannical ruler of the elephant seal's beach.
Like Bender, he was voiced by John DiMaggio, who also played Dr. Drakken in Kim Possible, The Joker in Batman: Under the Red Hood, Brother Blood in Teen Titans, Ralph in We Bare Bears, Hammerhead and Sandman in The Spectacular Spider-Man, Jesse and Woolter in Zootopia, and Nitro Zeus in Transformers: The Last Night.
History[]
Years ago, Beachmaster became the ruler of the beach due to his immense weight, as is the hierarchy of the elephant seal. Here, he acted as a tyrant, exiling other males and forcing all of the females to only mate with him (Farnsworth accounts to him having sex with his mother multiple times). By the time of the episode, he had amassed a harem of around fifty females.
One day, he saw a group of lowly males eyeing his beach, causing him to yell at them. Later, in his sleep, he accidentally rolled over seven of his children, crushing them. When his harem scolded him for this, he simply had sex with them again in order to repopulate. He soon saw the seal Kiff talking to the seal Amy, forcing him to throw out the casanova. Having enough of his reign of terror, Kiff challenged the Beachmaster to a duel for the control of the kingdom. The battle waged till sunrise, with Beachmaster even fighting in his sleep; he awoke to find a dead Kiff on the ground. While he believed that he had won, the group of males were still able to mate with some of the females behind the Beachmaster's back.
The camera then zoomed out to Earth getting blown up by the Omicronians, presumably killing the Beachmaster.
Appearance[]
The beachmaster is, quite obviously, very obese, being several times bigger than his fellow seals. His skin is a dark blue-grey color and his underbelly is a lighter bluish-green. He has yellow eyes with beady black pupils, and he has a structure on his head resembling the original Bender's antenna. Beyond this, he looks like a typical elephant seal, having four small flippers and a trunk-like face.
