Beartop Manbelow is a recurring villain from the Teletoon animated series, Total DramaRama. He an evil secret agent with a bear's head and a man's body, who also has some cyborg weapons installed in his person. He first appeared as the main antagonist in "Double Oh Beth".

He is voiced by Devin Mack, who also voices Chef Hatchet from the same series.

Biography

In "Double Oh Beth", Beartop Manbelow made his big debut as an evil spy, who Beth had to fight during her double life as a secret agent. Beartop Manbelow broke into Total Drama Daycare to steal some information hidden in the school's underground laboratory to steal the world's nuclear launch codes. Beth chose to spent her spring break going on a mission to stop him and ended up bringing Cody along by mistake. Chef Hatchet ran into him when he broke into the school and he thought this was part of his Adventure Role Play Vacation, which he was going on for his vacation. Beartop Manbelow took advantage of Chef's naivety and had him tied to a chair with jump rope, while he used the school's hidden elevator to go underground. When Manbelow went down to the land below, he was greeted with Beth, who had already beaten him to the computer chips that had all the world's secrets. It was clear from the conversation that this was not the first time Beth and Beartop had met, as Beth had previously defeated Beartop in a mission called "Operation: Beartrap". Beartop Manbelow told Beth that since his defeat, Beartop went back to his volcano lair on an island and was mechanically modified by his team of scientists, to be equipped with super cool weapons to make him stronger and faster. Beartop Manbelow used his new super powers to fight with Beth. During the fight, Beth used her headband to tie up Manbelow's legs and stop him. Aftet this, Cody ended up eating all the computer chips with the knowledge of the universe on them, thinking they were actual chips. Beth escaped to some escape pods with Cody so that she could get him to HQ so that they could extract the chips from him before Manbelow dissected him or something. After they flew off in a teddy bear-shaped aircraft, Manbelow sent them a video message, where he revealed that not only was he now free, but he still had Chef in his grasp and was going to blaze him in half with a laser. Beth and Cody came back to the school and had an idea to defeat Manbelow, using the tools in Chef's trunk, which included a fishing rod, a suit of armor, quick dry cement, night vision goggles, his brightest novelty hat, and 50 pounds of butterscotch pudding. Beth had Cody tied to the fishing pole and lured Beartop out of the school, where he stepped in a trail of butterscotch pudding. Beth jumped down in the suit of armor and punched Manbelow across the slippery trail of pudding, which made him land in a puddle of cement. This froze him like a statue and then Beth put some night vision goggles on him and had Cody come in with a bright novelty hat, which was so bright, that it overloaded Beartop Manbelow's night vision goggles and blew them up, making his robot head blow up too. After his defeat, a military helicopter came by and took Beartop Manbelow's headless body away.

In "Trousering Inferno", Beartop Manbelow made a cameo in prison.

In "A Very Special Special That's Quite Special", Beartop Manbelow ran a massive business corporation, where he planned to steal a super powerful diamond called the crystaline hashtag so that he could use it to power a social media platform for animals. However, two buffoonish robbers named Slick & Sly stole it first and were accidentally robbed by the students of Total Drama Daycare. Later, some aliens came down to try and steal the hashtag too, so they could use it was a hood ornament that would help them travel through time and alternate dimensions. Beartop Manbelow sent out his many leagues of cybergoons to chase down these kids and steal the hashtag from them. First some balloon cybergoons to chase down the kids on the blimp with the hashtag on the blimp. Then it was a helicopter but the kids burst the blimp and escaped. Then it was swamp cybergoons. Duncan teleported Sir Splash-a-Lots to his business and destroyed it.

Appearance

Beartop Manbelow, as his name suggests, is a hybrid of a man and a bear, with his head being a that of a bear's and his body being that of a man's. His head is a brown furry bear head and his body is a strong and slender light-skinned human body, although his skin appeared more tanned in future appearances. He wears a deep blue suit, a lavender undershirt, a red tie, a red flower, black pants, and dark maroon shoes.

Personality

Beartop Manbelow is a suave and devious criminal, who acts like a typical James Bond villain. Not much is known about his origin or how he became the man-bear hybrid creature he is today. His goals seem to vary from episode to episode but one thing that is clear is that he appears to be a power-hungry individual, who is bent on taking over the world. Beartop Manbelow is a technology-based villain, who has a team of scientists, who have installed gadgets and mechanical superpowers into his body to fight people in battle. He also relies on an army of robot droids he calls his Cyber Goons, who work as his mooks an do his dirty work.

• Beartop Manbelow is meant to be a parody on James Bond villains.
• Although the skin on his hands was light in his first appearance, it appeared more tan in all of his future appearances.
