The Beast Pack (ビーストパック) are the main antagonists of Kirby and the Forgotten Land. They are a group of beasts who rule over the Forgotten Lands. Despite this, they're not evil, as it's revealed they were taken over by Fecto Forgo against their will. They would eventually become friends with Kirby at the end.
History[]
The Beast Pack was founded when a lion named Leon, one of the many animals who had been left behind when the original denizens of the Forgotten Lands departed from the planet, stumbled across a being codenamed Specimen ID-F86 being held in Lab Discovera. The specimen, Fecto Forgo, corrupted Leon with its power, turning him into "Leongar", and coerced him and many other animals into serving it, thus forming the "Beast Pack". The specimen convinced its followers of how the original denizens of the land had ascended to a "land of dreams", and that by helping it to become complete, it would also transport them there.
As the first step of this goal, Fecto Forgo opened a wormhole to Dreamland and sucked many of its residents to the Forgotten Lands. To fulfill the wishes of their "Great One", the Beast Pack kidnapped the Waddle Dees that had been brought to the Forgotten Lands and put them to work as a labor force to generate power for Lab Discovera. At the same time, they sought to capture Elfilin, who was really the part of Fecto Forgo that had separated from it in the past.
The Beast Pack were able to capture Elfilin, but Kirby fought his way through Lab Discovera and defeated Leongar to free his friend. However, Fecto Forgo would then break free of its containment and assimilate various members of the pack to become "Fecto Forgo" in an effort to capture Elfilin itself.
After Kirby defeated (Morpho Knight who was then Fecto Forgo), The Beast Pack brought the pieces of Leon's souls to bring him back to life.

- The Beast Pack is similar to the Squeaks from Kirby Squeak Squad, as both are an animalistic faction that initially were antagonistic towards Kirby (The Beast Pack as they were under the mind control of Fecto Elfilis and the Squeaks as they stole Kirby's slice of cake) until their reformation as allies to Kirby near the end of their respective games. However, unlike the Squeaks, whose members only comprised of mice, the Beast Pack consists of different animal species.
