Beelzebub is a villain and boss in the Castlevania videogame series.


History

Beelzebub first appeared in "Castlevania: Symphony of the Night". He was depicted as a giant, rotting corpse and he had no attacks of his own. Alucard battles it in the Inverse Castle, at the Necromancy Lab area. He is an optional boss. Beelzebub attacks by taking control of giant flies that are attracted to it. It can also release poisonous maggots. The more damage he takes, the more parts of his body fall of. He returned in Catlevania Puzzle: Encore of the Night and in Castlevania: Harmony of Despair.
