Beelzebub is one of the main antagonists of the fantasy gacha game Granblue Fantasy and the fighting game spin-off series Granblue Fantasy: Versus.
He is a clone of Helel ben Shalem and an astral, a being of divine origin. He would betray his creators and become one of the main villains of the What Makes the Sky Blue trilogy saga event and one of the main villains of the Versus series.
He was voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi in Japanese as well as Adin Rudd in English.
History[]
Beelzebub was created by Helel ben Shalem and was the singularity of the crimson horizon. He was once Lucilius' ally. Beelzebub would grow in power and see the creation of Lucifer, who he grew jealous of. He would soon join Belial's side and manipulate the events that lead up to the What Makes the Sky Blue saga. He first appears in a hooded disguise, wanting to manipulate Sandalphon and creating the demon called Avatar. There, Lucifer would try to stop the fallen angels with the protagonist but Beelzebub used this opportunity to stab Lucifer and bring his corpse to Belial. Beelzebub would continue the fight against Sandalphon and Gran/Djeeta for his plans. But unknown to him Belial secretly revived Lucilius to destroy the universe. Beelzebub realised this and opposed this as he wanted to rule the realms instead of destroying all of reality but was stopped. Beezlebub would return after Lucilius's defeat but would later lose to the captain and got sealed away.
In the Versus series, Beelzebub escapes from his prison and plans on continuing his plans of domination where this time, he and Belial messed with the timelines which caused Gran and Djeeta to meet. Beezlebub plots to destroy the two singularities for his plans but was defeated. In Rising he would soon meet up with Lucilius again and brings in Rein who is an avatar of Bahamut and mother of Gran and Djeeta to his plans. During this, Rein transforms into Versusia and imprisons Belial and Lucilius, causing Beelzebub to escape and fight against Gran and Djeeta once again but loses and flees, plotting again.

Beelzebub is one of the most powerful villains in Granblue, being able to use magic and chaos matter.
Personality[]
Beelzebub is an arrogant and prideful man who looks down on anyone he meets. He is power hungry and wants to rule of all of creation to spread chaos.
