Beleth is an Immortal and one of the various Lords of Hell in Diablo. Debuting in Heroes of the Storm, Beleth is a titanic sized Demon that towers over the other denizens of hell and even its architecture. He, like the rest of demonkind, is locked in an eternal battle against the High Heavens, and is the archenemy and counterpart of the angelic Immortal Ilarian. True to his status as an Immortal, despite not being invincible and defeatable, Beleth cannot be killed in any shape or form, and always returns to continue waging war against the angels.

Personality

Despite being somewhat affable and tolerable towards mortals so long as they fight for Hell, Beleth is the epitome of a demon. Destructive, wrathful and burning with unending hatred for Heaven, Beleth's entire purpose in existence is to bring ruin to the High Heavens, a campaign he relishes with delight. He thrives in violence and chaos, and unleashes havoc with sadistic enjoyment and laughter. He openly mocks and gloats against his nemesis Ilarian and the rest of the angels, considering them to be nothing more than rabble fit only to be eradicated by his hand. Despite having fought against Ilarian since time immemorial, Beleth never tries of the slaughter and is always eager to keep it going.

Powers and Abilities

Beleth is one of, if not the largest Demon in existence, and befitting of his gigantic size is capable of astounding feats of strength and power. He is able to topple entire buildings with a mere wave of his hand, and can cut down entire armies singlehandedly with his twin swords. His demonic magic can vaporize lesser beings on contact, and even hardened, powerful warriors of the Eternal Conflict can be casually slain by him. Beleth is able to take an extreme amount of punishment and keep fighting, and due to being an Immortal, cannot be killed in any known way, regenerating rapidly after he falls.
