Belial is the secondary antagonist in the android mobile video game, Grand Sphere. He is a Dark Sphere who was an automaton created by Verzeus the Evil as his body was infused with the Dark Sphere's remains. He also serves as the main antagonist in the Lunasys Holy Lands story arc and later reappeared in the Saturnia Federation story arc as the secondary antagonist and the final story arc.
Appearance[]
Belial is the demonic Dark Sphere that resembles the red-skinned demon with two pairs of long, curved black horns and two reddish orange eyes. He also possessed the two pairs of large red wings which he used for his flight.
Personality[]
Belial was a ruthless, fearsome and dangerous Dark Sphere who was loyal to Verzeus the Evil since the latter was responsible for creating him and was willing to fulfil his master's goal no matter what. Despite his brute strength and his regenerative ability, he was willing to use pragmatic tactics to outsmart his enemies in order to fulfil his mission without wasting his time fighting them directly, though he later became aggressive and relentlessly attacked his enemies following his return. He also can be seen speaking in a soft and subtle tone especially when exchanging words with the others.
History[]
Belial was an automaton who was created by Verzeus the Evil who infused his body with the deceased Dark Sphere's flesh as the part of his "experiment" in order create the most powerful Dark Sphere. During the Void War, Belial later assists his master in their battle against the Summons until Verzeus and his minions were defeated by the Great Summon Bahamut who sacrificed his own life to destroy Verzeus. Following the end of the war, Belial manages to resurface and prepare to bring forth his master's revival.
He and the other Dark Spheres arrive in the island of Lunasys Holy Lands just when the Tellan army led by Princess Stella arrived into the island in the same time to get the Summon's power. Belial was tasked by Verzeus of capturing Stella and bring her to him who wanted to use her as his vessel for his revival as well as destroying all the seal monuments in the shrines to destroy the Great Summon's seal.
