The Bella Sisters, also known as the Chainsaw Sisters are minor yet extremely dangerous enemies in Resident Evil 4. While not as powerful as Doctor Salvador, one is never without the other, meaning Leon has to fight these two monstrous women together. Like all of the other Ganado, they have become slaves to Las Plagas, turning them into bloodcrazed lunatics.
Biography[]
It isn't exactly known who the Bella Sisters were pre Plaga infection, though going by their name, they were presumably two very beautiful women. Everything would change for them and the rest of the villagers with the arrival of Osmund Saddler. After brainwashing their leader Bitores Mendez, the village Chief would convert the rest of the villagers to the cult of Los Illuminados, and in the process, infect everyone with the parasitic horrors Las Plagas.
The two sisters along with all the other villagers succumbed to the parasite and their minds were lost forever. The two beauties were gone, replaced by crazed fanatics who's infection was far more powerful than that of the other villagers. Drastically stronger, far more durable, they would relentlessly chase after Leon Kennedy and try to brutally murder him, but ultimately were no match for him and would be slain together.
Personality[]
Apart from their apparent beauty, there's no information on the sisters before Saddler's arrival. What is known, is that their Plaga infection was much more potent and volatile than the other villagers save Salvador. Becoming mindless, bloodthirsty berserkers, whenever the Bella Sisters engaged their enemies in combat they did so with uncontrollable rage and aggression. They would scream and roar like wild monsters obsessed with spilling blood, covered in quite a bit of it themselves.
It isn't known if their infection deformed them into grotesque monstrosities, if it caused the sisters to disfigure and mutilate their faces, or if they did so out of some masochistic or rage fueled desire. Still, despite being rendered mindless and feral, their connection to one another remained, as they were always together.
