Bellamy is the main antagonist of the Jaya Arc and a minor antagonist in the Dressrosa Arc of the anime and manga series One Piece. He was the captain of the Bellamy Pirates and a member of the Donquixote Pirates. After he retired from the piracy and currently a dyer.
He was debut on Sky Island Saga, the former bounty of 55,000,000 was known as the "Big-Time Rookie" by Mock Town. During the post-timeskip, his current bounty of 195,000,000.
He was voiced by Wataru Takagi in the Japanese version of the anime, who also voiced Tobi in Naruto, Zeus in Record of Ragnarok, Rubeus from Sailor Moon, Hammerhead from One-Punch Man, the Joker from Batman Ninja, and Doctrine Dark from Street Fighter EX. In the English versions of the anime, he is voiced by Andrew Rannells in the 4Kids Entertainment, and Justin Cook in the Funimation English dubbed version, who also voiced Eustass Kid in the same series, Leon Kuwata from Danganronpa: The Animation, Raditz from Dragon Ball Z, Seiryu from Yu Yu Hakusho, and Baldorias S. Fanghini from Black Cat.
Appearance[]
Bellamy is a tall, young man who has a short and skin, and a blonde hair. At the Jaya Arc, he wears his white pants, his green sash markings, and his pink shirt with sleeveless on the a navy blue pirate captain's coat. This coat crossed-out when he became falling off whatever he do he used a spring-based jumping.
His tattoos scar is red of the right eye designs on his arms. His trademark sticking out of his tongue and trademark taunting manner.
During the timeskip, he grow up at the dramatically. He has a black glasses and two scars, who has both of each side of his face, probably he defeated by Luffy or Donquixote Doflamingo get him punishment for humiliating. He also wears a dark purple captain coat and his dark blue sleeved shirt as a old jelly roger (who covered on his painted cross on his back), in the left open who has a tattoos marked it on his chest.
Personality[]
Bellamy is violent, conceited and characterized. He is confident and highly arrogant for his current powers. He can attack if he can win who against his rival Monkey D. Luffy and despite of his attitude led to Luffy defeating him. Bellamy knows about his weakness, it only has defeated to a member of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, Crocodile and others before they moving to Jaya. He had the audience to win the feats.
After losing his crew and gaining the gold pillar of Shandia, Bellamy had a changed outlook towards dreams, and understood why he lost at the hands of Luffy. When meeting him again after two years, Bellamy sheds his arrogance and wishes Luffy luck in the Colosseum.
Bellamy is revealed to be highly loyal, not wanting to betray Donquixote Doflamingo due to him admiring the latter. Even when Doflamingo is revealed to be using Bellamy, he doesn't turn against him and fights Luffy. After Doflamingo is defeated, Bellamy no longer admires Doflamingo.
