He is a proud and passionate warrior. He is always in his fortress floating in space above the Earth, and he can appear from anywhere on Earth.

With him are Falzeb, a small pixie-like person who lives inside his chest cavity, as well as Taida, his faithful subordinate.

Biography[]

Past[]

Not much is known about his past, but he is extremely loyal to Emperor Warusa and due to his effectiveness in the Jaku Empire, he was given the mission along with Taida to go to Earth to conquer it.

Zettai Muteki Raijin-Oh[]

The first time Belzeb (along with Taida) is seen is on the floating fortress, ready to destroy Earth with a missile filled with Akudamas, but is interrupted by Raijin-Oh, who tells him that he is the defender of Earth and will not let it be destroyed. Belzeb orders Taida to launch the missile with Akudamas directly at Raijin-Oh. Despite the warning that he could lose the missile, Belzeb pressures him and they launch the missile. Raijin-Oh manages to stop the missile, but Belzeb uses his magic to open a portal where he enlarges his fist and hits Raijin-Oh, causing the missile to explode. Raijin-Oh falls to Earth and Hinobori Academy, causing the Akudamas to spread throughout Japan. Despite the loss of the missile, Belzeb mentions that even if they don't destroy Earth immediately as planned, the Akudama eggs will cause chaos in themselves. The day after the incident, Belzeb and Taida transport themselves to Earth, where Belzeb explains to Taida that the Akudama eggs will turn into Evil Beasts from objects or creatures that humans hate and detest. The first Akudama egg is activated by school teacher Shuntaro Shinoda's hatred of the car smoke that usually hits him when he rides his bicycle. After seeing the egg's activation, Belzeb throws it straight into the city and invokes Falzeb to fill it with a magic power called Jaku Power radiate so that when fully activated it would be of great size and attack the city of Japan. After his beast's attack is interrupted by Raijin-Oh, Belzeb is surprised that Raijin-Oh survived. And after the beast's destruction, he swears that he will never forgive Raijin-Oh for thwarting his plans.

Shortly after his first defeat, Belzeb sets his fortress to routinely roam the Earth's moon to monitor the activities of the Akudama eggs. Taida advises him that it would be best to leave and let the Akudama simply take care of conquering and destroying the Earth. But Falzeb quickly reminds him that as long as Raijin-Oh is protecting the Earth, it won't be so easy. Belzeb then sends Taida to Earth and orders him to find an Akudama activated or already transformed into an Evil Beast, to give it orders and plan a strategy with the power it has. Shortly after, Belzeb reported the situation to Emperor Warusa, who was annoyed that Belzeb hadn't yet conquered the 3rd dimension (which is where Earth belongs) and scolds him for maintaining the empire's reputation by not surrendering or retreating. Beelzebub tells him that even if he dies or his body is destroyed, he will give him the Earth and the third dimension. The emperor, pleased, tells him he will not forget that promise. Shortly after, he returns to Earth, furious with Taida for not contacting him when he found the beast. After reprimanding him, he makes the beast grow and demonstrates that, in addition to making the beast grow, the lightning also makes them evolve into a more powerful, humanoid version.

Shortly after the failure of the last beast, due to the confusion of not detecting the activation of the Akudama eggs in time, Belzeb ordered Taida to create a radar to detect when an Akudama was activated. But Taida, in his incompetence, only caused the machine to detect its activation, not the exact location of the evil beasts, so Beelzebub continued sending Taida to find them.

On one occasion, they found an Akudama beast taking the form of a baby stroller that mimicked a baby's cry. Because Beelzebub couldn't distinguish between which stroller held the beast and which contained a human baby named Mikuroda, Beelzebub took advantage of the situation not only to enlarge the beast, but also to take the baby hostage. He later used a second Jaku Power Radiate to evolve the beast and better contain the baby so that the Raijin-Oh pilots couldn't rescue him. Luckily, the baby's older sister, a girl named Taiko, got inside the beast and rescued him, once again ruining their plans.

Shortly after, a beast took the form of the Raijin-Oh pilots' classroom teacher, Shuntaro Shinoda, because he became stricter with his classes. Belzeb saw it as an opportunity and ordered Taida to intercept it to plan a strategy for a better attack, however, because the beast proved to be much wilder and erratic than all the previous ones, it did not obey Taida, and instead of attacking the pilots, it only began to cause chaos such as destroying a restaurant, destroying the dishes, painting the word "failed" on them and eating all their food, in addition to drinking all the gasoline from a gas station and attacking everyone by putting a "failed" stamp on them or painting it with a marker, the only chaos it caused was ruining Shinoda's reputation. Fed up with Taida's incompetence for not controlling the beast and confusing it on more than one occasion with the real Shinoda, Belzeb came down to Earth and enlarged the beast. But because she kept her disguise as Shinoda, instead of taking the form of a regular monster, he transformed into a giant version of Professor Shuntaro Shinoda, albeit with a more muscular appearance. Belzeb used this opportunity to confuse the pilots and prevent them from attacking the beast, which nearly gave him victory, until the real Shuntaro Shinoda appeared in his car and destroyed his double's disguise, revealing a blackboard monster that was ultimately destroyed.

As the battles continued, Belzeb developed a new strategy and created his own evil version of Raijin-Oh, the destroyer Emperor Leviathan using the Akudama's energy, which he and Taida piloted. From there, it began descending to Earth, and instead of the Akudama turning into monsters, it used their energies to fight Raijin-Oh. Although he continued using various beasts when he noticed that the Leviathan robot was not enough to defeat Raijin-Oh.

Personality[]

Belzeb is a cold and ruthless man, who shows no mercy or compassion to anyone, as he has never felt remorse in making major attacks against humans or shown annoyance in attacking children who pilot Raijin-Oh, as a military man he always keeps a cool head in any situation, because despite the surprise of seeing Raijin-Oh the first time they faced each other, he quickly sought to eliminate him. However, he also has a rather explosive temper as he chose to launch his great missile with Akudamas at the first provocation or he is also constantly seen annoyed when Taida does not do what he orders, such as when he did not warn him of the presence of the Akudamas or shows his constant incompetence in not having control of the evil beasts. Belzeb prefers that evil beasts be created directly by him rather than independently.

Although they are created from things that bother humans, Belzeb prefers that they be created by his own choice, as Belzeb is quite controlling. He does not dislike beasts that were born independently of his own ideas and usually orders Taida to intercept them in order to control them and develop a strategy, or simply to grow and evolve them to improve them. He also shows great pleasure when these beasts have to do with something personal to the pilots, as he sees it as an opportunity to make the pilots worried, such as when a beast took the form of homeroom teacher Shuntaro Shinoda so the pilots wouldn't attack him, or when he kidnapped a baby so the pilots couldn't attack the beast. As Belzeb sees the beasts losing battles, he decides he can't leave her to do all the work, so he opts to start descending more frequently to Earth with an opponent who is Raijin-oh's equal.

He proves to be a ruthless warrior once he builds the destroyer robot Emperor Leviathan to pilot himself, where it is seen how ruthless he is in battle, making it quite difficult for Raijin-oh's pilots to defeat him in his first battles. However, the only person Belzeb has shown fear and respect for is Emperor Warusa, to whom Belzeb shows absolute loyalty and is Belzeb's own motivation for not allowing himself to fail and not conquer the dimension.

Despite wanting to maintain the empire's reputation of not giving up or accepting defeat, after the construction of the Destroyer Emperor Leviathan Robot, every time a beast is destroyed or he is overwhelmed by Raijin-oh, he transport himself back to his floating fortress before losing in battle, showing hypocrisy in his own promise to the Emperor to hand over the land even if he died in the attempt. Although he possibly sees this only as a strategic retreat, to fight another day.
