Ben Fujinami is the cyborg leader of Guild and the main antagonist of episodes 1 and 2 of Tokusou Robo Janperson.
He is portrayed by Noboru Ichiyama.
History[]
Ben Fujinami is first seen watching a news report about his former henchman Hiruta, who was captured by the police and revealed the existence of Guild. Cursing Hiruta and Janperson, Fujinami vowed to destroy Janperson for interfering in Guild's plans.
Later, Fujinami had robot duplicates of news reporter Aki Wakabayashi and police detectives Koumori Koujiro and Takaido Shiro constructed and used them to capture a young boy named Toru in order to lure Janperson into a trap. Once Janperson arrived in an abandoned factory to rescue Toru, Fujinami had Janperson captured by binding him with chains. The real Aki, Koumori and Takaido soon arrived to investigate and Fujinami revealed himself, ordering their robot duplicates to kill them and take their place. However, the three manage to fight them off as Janperson escapes with help from his Dark Jaycar and goes to rescue Toru. Fujinami has Toru brought to his underground base beneath the factory and sends his GuilBlackers to kill Janperson, but Janperson manages to fight them off and destroy Guild's computer system, causing all of Guild's robot doppelgangers to lose their disguises and be deactivated.
After Janperson rescues Toru and damages Fujinami, Fujinami sets off the self destruct sequence in his base in a final attempt to kill Janperson, but Janperson manages to escape with Toru.
Following Fujinami's demise, the remnants of Guild would organize under his half-brother George Makabe to form the successor organization Neo-Guild.
