Furious Fighter Ben K is a member of the Neros Empire's Yoroi Army and a supporting antagonist in Choujinki Metalder.
He was voiced by Toku Nishio, who also voiced Iron Man Monsu in Seiun Kamen Machineman and later voiced Gyuma in the Metal Hero series Sekai Ninja Sen Jiraiya.
Biography[]
Following the failure of Gochak to destroy Metalder, God Neros requested a new warrior be sent after him. Balusky initially attempted volunteer another one of his Battle Robots but Coolgin dismissed him due to the failure of his previous fighter and summoned Ben K to carry out the task. Balusky then called upon Gebaros and had him duel Ben K to decide who would carry out the mission. Ben K defeated Gebaros with his superior physical strength and thus was granted the task of destroying Metalder.
Ben K came across Ryusei Tsurugi as he was spending time with Mai Ogi and attacked him by stabbing his leg, revealing his circuitry to Mai and that he was not human. After Ryusei escaped into the forest, Ben K picked up a rabbit and started abusing it to draw Ryusei out. Hearing the rabbit's cries of pain, Ryusei appeared and transformed into Metalder to fight Ben K. Metalder defeated Ben K, cracking his helmet open to reveal his face. He picked up Ben K's mallet to use to finish him off, only for his self control circuit to activate and cause him to stop. Ben K then asked him why he had stopped, to which Ryusei told him he only had one life and suggested he not waste it before walking away.
