Bengal Richness, also known as Bengal Ritchine, is a minor antagonist in the Doraemon franchise. He made his debut appearance in Move Fast, Doraemon! The Galactic Grand Prix as the main antagonist. His goal was to win the Galactic Grand Prix, something which his love interest, Karen was helping him do until her father saw what she was doing, leading to Bengal Richness falling short of his dream.
He was voiced by the late Keiji Fujiwara.
Story[]
Bengal Richness framed Depon "Devlin" Alex for cheating so he could win and teamed up with Karen so he could win. After a giant bug-worm hybrid devours the racers, Bengal reveals his true plan to the rest of the racers and leaves, also revealing that the hybrid had forged a bond with him during his stay. He manages to escape momentarily, but his plans are foiled when Nobita and Doraemon manage to escape with the Big G's help. Things get worse for Bengal when Karen's father sees what she is doing. Despite the fact that Bengal tried to blow up their duck-shaped vehicle, the due manage to catch air and smash Bengal flat, possibly as karma. While Nobita falls out of the vehicle, Doraemon manages to win the race. During the end, Bengal and Karen manage to get back together, despite being hauled off to jail for their crimes.
