Benjamin Boomboom is the patriarch of the Boomboom Family, and the father of Andre Boomboom and L. A. Boomboom respectively. He is a greedy murderous racer participating in the Steel Ball Run race and minor antagonists in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run. He and his family plan to win the SBR race in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in order to maximize potential profits. He his sons wield the shared Stand named Tomb of the Boom, all of which having the same ability of magnetism.
Appearance[]
Benjamin is a middle aged man with a blonde bowl cut hair cut, he also wears a hooded cloak covered with a dotted design. He sports a metallic apparatus covering the bottom of his jaw.
Personality[]
Benjamin is a greedy and murderous man, who targets other competitors in the Steel Ball Run to get ahead and obtain the prize money as well as to collect on bounties. He is quick to anger, constantly yelling at his youngest son L.A. and badmouthing his ex wife. Although he protects his sons using his Stand as a shield, he pays no mind to the agonizing Andre believing his wounds to be minor in comparison to his own. He also despises the mother of his children, who supposedly abandoned the family to "be a whore" and takes some of the resentment out on L. A..
History[]
Many years ago on his way back home Benjamin fell off a cliff and broke his jaw. As an adult he eventually married a woman and had two sons Andre and L. A.. Eventually, Benjamin's wife abandoned the family, Benjamin alludes to her having an affair with another man while running away with them.
Sometime during their lives, prior to the Steel Ball Run race, Benjamin and his sons went looking for mines in the desert but came across a Stand granting environment, which caused all 3 of them to gain a shared Stand, they later named Tomb of the Boom.
Shortly before the Steel Ball Run race, Benjamin accepted a bounty set by Oyecomova to kill Gyro Zeppeli. He then entered the aforementioned race, together with his sons, to collect said bounty and win the prize money.
After his son, Andre, tricks Gyro and Johnny Joestar and manages to transform the first into a human magnet, Benjamin and L.A. attack them unsuccessfully. Benjamin, however, manages to exploit Andre's power in a diabolic way: by shooting at him, he manages to drop some of his son's blood on Johnny, therefore turning him into a magnet as well.
Benjamin disguises himself as Johnny with Tomb of the Boom, he manages to magnetize the sheriff Mountain Tim aswell. Benjamin's plan is to make the three of them approach and be killed by the magnetic power of the Boom Boom family. However, it fails when Mountain Tim uses his Oh! Lonesome Me to tie himself to a rock. Forced into close combat, he ultimately manages to make his three enemies gather, but Johnny develops Tusk at the last moment and cuts him in half.

Tomb of the Boom is a stand shared between the Boomboom family. All versions are similar with slight differences between their users.
Tomb of the Boom wields the power of magnetism, as well can turn people into a magnet if any part of their body is touched by its user, including parts outside their body like drops of blood. The magnetism is stronger when the user is closer, and weaker when they are farther.
