Berfo is the main antagonist of the 1996 Turkish film The Bandit alongside the Turkish mobster Demircan.
He was portrayed by the late Kamran Usluer.
Biography[]
Past[]
After informing the police and having his best friend Baran and other bandits arrested with him, he stole Baran's girlfriend, Keje, and ran away to Istanbul and after some time he sent hitmen to eliminate Baran in prison, failing to kill Baran but killing other bandits.
The Bandit[]
Berfo's first appearance is on the TV of a hotel, after the news an interview will appear, where Berfo will be accused of various crimes and of having been helped by the Turkish Mafia to become powerful and buy a textile factory with a counterfeit license, Berfo then threatens the journalist, while Baran watches TV amazed at having found the man he was looking for.
A few days after leaving his house Berfo notices Baran and another Cumali man who were looking at his house.
After getting too close to the house, the corrupt cops arrested the two, leaving them in the hands of Berfo's men, who took Baran and took him to Berfo. After talking to him about how Berfo didn't cheat out of love, he will promise Baran that if Keje talks, she will probably be free one day. After Keje spoke Berfo let Baran go.
After Baran returned to demand two million from Berfo for a debt to the Turkish Mafia, Berfo gave him a fake check, betraying Baran again. Some of Demircan's henchmen shot Cumali and wounded him. After seeing Cumali die in his arms, Baran infiltrated Berfo's house, killing him shortly after.

Berfo has an arrogant and sociopathic personality as a traitor, obsessed with love so much so that he kidnaps and manipulates a woman and is ready to kill for her, going against all his morals.
Berfo has always loved cheating and cheating since he was little, he has never been faithful to anyone except Keja.
