The "Berman Empire" is the fascist regime that serves as the main antagonistic force featured in Fuga: Melodies of Steel.
History[]
The Berman Empire is an ambitious military nation that is located northeast of Gasco, having been established having been established as as a new nation 10 years ago, and follows a unified ideology. The empire is currently lead by it's Emperor known as Leber Kaiser and the supreme commander of its army was Colonel General Shvein Hax. While they claim their true intention for conquering Gasco was to reclaim lost land, in truth Hax instead planned to put all of the military assets into taking over Paresia to in order to claim the Vanargand become a god-like figure. To do this the army was willing to enslave Gasco's inhabitants into mining out the Vanargand's lost core to be inserted into the Tarascus and experimenting on a massive amount of Felineko in order to create Bio-Energy batteries out of their Nono (to power the core) leading to their deaths.

After the events in the first game the Berman Empire established a ceasefire and peace treaty with Gasco.

It's revealed that the peace treaty was a ruse as the emperor Leber Kaiser declared war on Gasco once more.
