Albert 'Bert' Van den Bossche is a character from the Belgian soap opera Familie. He is the long-lost bastard grandson of Pierre Van den Bossche who felt pushed aside several times by the Van den Bossches compared to his cousin Peter, causing Bert to try to kill him for years.
He is Louise Van den Bossche's biological father and one of the archenemies of Peter and Rita Van den Bossche after he tried to kill the former several times and blamed the latter for the fire at VDB Electronics and the murder of her ex-husband Rob Gerrits.
He is portrayed by Mout Uyttersprot from Februari 2002 to March 2004, by Steven De Lelie from October 2006 to March 2015 and by Jan Sobrie from Februari 2024 to Januari 2025.
