Roberto do Nascimento Rocha "Beto" is a minor antagonist in Brazilian telenovela Salve Jorge. He is Morena's ex-boyfriend and father of her son, Júnior. he comes back to torment the life of his ex-girlfriend.

He is portrayed by Sacha Bali who also played Metamorfo in telenovela Caminhos do Coração and their sequels Os Mutantes and Promessas de Amor.

Early life[]
Not much is known about Beto's past life, at some point in his life he met a 14 years old teenager girl from Complexo do Alemão, Morena. They started dating, and in this courtship he gave her shooting lessons. They went to various bailes funk and parties together, But Morena got pregnant with it, and after the birth of the child, Beto broke up wih she and forges one's own death in a shooting in the slum and leaves.
Salve Jorge[]
Beto is seen kissing Maria Vanúbia at the party-holiday of São Jorge by Morena, furious she confronts him about the money and slaps him. He argues with Morena, she reminds him that Junior needs this pension Beto throws the girl on the ground and leaves. Morena and her new boyfriend Theo are dating at the night, Beto see they and leave.
Next day, Beto goes to Morena' house Morena closes the door but Beto opens aggressively and enters her house. He confronts she about it, Morena tells him that it is no longer that girl who always crawling behind him, Beto is unworthy while Morena tries kick him out of the house. They start arguing on the street, everyone from the Bar da Diva watch out. Morena tells Beto that he will seek a lawyer for the money Junior does not receive, Beto try to enter the house to see the son, but it's pushed by Morena, the fight gets more aggressive when Beto pulls out a razor and threatens his ex-girlfriend, he tells her that he will enter for good or evil. Morena calls him a coward.
Morena pulls him and prevents him from going, she threatens to call the police, Beto slaps she, Morena repays the slap, they start physically assaulting each other, however, Théo, who's doing a survey in the slum arrives with the military and confronts Beto, he refuses and lie to everyone who did not break into her house. Before he leave, Beto points the knife at her, Morena tells him not to speak her name, Beto is taken arrested by Téo and the lieutenants.
Just like the disappearance of other characters in the plot, Beto is no longer seen and not even mentioned.
