The Beyonder is one of the main antagonists in Marvel Universe, serving as the main antagonist of the Secret Wars storyline
He is one of the universe's most mysterious and powerful supervillains, originally conceived as an omnipotent being from another dimension beyond the Multiverse he was later retconned to be a rogue and child Cosmic Cube who was unaware of his true nature and caused havoc with his reality-warping powers: this new origin is not set in stone however and the true nature and origin of the Beyonder may never truly be known by any mere mortal. What is certain is that he is from an enigmatic higher-dimensional race of cosmic entities known as the Beyonders.
The original tale introduces the Beyonder as a being encompassing the entirety of an alternate multiverse known as the Beyond Realm, which surpasses the vastness of the marvel multiverse. This realm's immense power is fortuitously stumbled upon by a scientist within the Marvel Universe, leading to a transformative experience that ultimately shapes them into the malevolent entity known as the Molecule Man.

Interestingly, it was Galactus, the formidable entity with an insatiable appetite for worlds, who initially bestowed this moniker upon him. Galactus became intrigued by the immense and potent energies that the Beyonder possessed, perceiving them as a potential feast for his eternal hunger. This curiosity led Galactus to launch an audacious assault on the Beyonder's realm, joining forces with Doctor Doom, who also sought to harness the Beyonder's extraordinary power but for entirely different motives and aspirations.
Despite Galactus' immense power, he is unable to defeat the Beyonder, resulting in both Galactus and Dr. Doom being expelled from the Beyonder's domain. However, Dr. Doom's thirst for power leads him to acquire knowledge that enables him to harness the energies of Galactus' Worldship and the Beyonder. Utilizing these incredible powers, Dr. Doom constructs a towering golden structure that spans an impressive 200 miles, renouncing his villainous ways. Instead, he devotes himself to a noble cause, striving to rescue his mother from the clutches of the malevolent demon, Mephisto.
In a twist of events, the Beyonder's intelligence takes control of the wicked Klaw and cunningly influences Doom into unknowingly squandering his formidable powers in battles against countless superheroes. This devious maneuver manages to divert Doom's attention for a significant period, ultimately allowing the Beyonder to regain full control over his immense abilities once again.
Secret Wars II[]
Realizing the gravity of Boom Boom's distress, the Beyonder agrees to return to Earth. However, fearing the potential danger that awaits them, Boom Boom seeks out the Avengers to warn them about the Beyonder's presence. Together, they devise a plan to ambush the Beyonder, enlisting the help of the Fantastic Four and other superheroes. Despite his godlike powers and the ability to easily overpower his adversaries, the Beyonder surprisingly allows himself to be defeated by the collective force of the Avengers and their allies. This unexpected turn of events is driven by the bond that has formed between the Beyonder and Boom Boom, leading him to view her as a trusted friend. While traveling on a train to New York, the Beyonder unexpectedly encounters the mutant known as Boom Boom. Intrigued by her abilities, he decides to bring her to the Xavier Institute. However, their arrival is met with immediate aggression from both the X-Men and the New Mutants, who attack the Beyonder without hesitation. Overwhelmed and frightened by this unexpected hostility, Boom Boom pleads with the Beyonder to take them somewhere safe. In an effort to escape the chaos, the Beyonder transports them to a world inhabited by the powerful Celestials. Sensing the immense power of these beings, he devises a plan to challenge and defeat them, threatening to obliterate the entire universe if necessary. Amidst this turmoil, Boom Boom realizes the severity of the situation and desperately pleads for the Beyonder to return them to Earth.
However, the Beyonder eventually made a decision to assist humanity by removing Death from existence. However, he quickly realized that life could not function properly without the concept of death and vice versa. In the midst of this enormous cosmic event, Mephisto, a powerful villain, brought together numerous supervillains to launch an attack on the Beyonder. Their goal was to seize his power and win the approval of Death.
In a moment of desperation, the Beyonder found himself entangled in a fierce battle against the formidable Puma. Filled with a sense of purpose, the Beyonder believed that his sole mission was to assist Puma in finding his own identity by allowing him to vanquish the Beyonder himself. In a display of unimaginable power, the Beyonder bestowed upon Puma an amplified strength, multiplying his capabilities tenfold. It seemed as though the Beyonder was even willing to sacrifice his own life, permitting Puma to deliver the final blow. However, just as the pivotal moment approached, Spider-Man inadvertently uttered a thoughtless comment, exposing the Beyonder's manipulative nature. This unexpected revelation caused a wave of disillusionment to wash over Puma, extinguishing his determination to end the Beyonder's existence. In this twist of fate, the Beyonder managed to survive, narrowly escaping the clutches of impending doom.
Shortly after, the Beyonder comes to the realization that all his attempts to enhance the universe have been in vain, leading him to contemplate its destruction. His first step in this endeavor involves eliminating the New Mutants, engaging in a fierce confrontation with the powerful Phoenix entity.

Truth Revealed?[]
Based on recent revelations and the supposed "evidence" presented in Secret Wars III, it has been suggested that the events mentioned earlier were not entirely genuine. Instead, it is proposed that the Beyonder, a being of immense power, possessed the ability to manipulate reality similar to Jim Jaspers. It is believed that the cosmic entities involved in these events willingly participated in the Beyonder's plans, hoping to observe his development and nurture the tremendous power he possessed. However, it is important to note that this new explanation of the Beyonder's origins has sparked controversy and remains uncertain in terms of its factual validity. Marvel's official statement on the matter currently asserts that the Beyonder is a renegade Cosmic Cube.

Beyonder is the main antagonist in Season 4 arc "Secret Wars".
The Beyonder appears in Avengers: Secret Wars, voiced by Steven Weber. He assembled Battleworld as part of his experiment. In the episode "Beyond", he recreates Avengers Tower for the Avengers and New Avengers to use as a base as he tells them that they are on Battleworld as part of his experiment. He even tells Hulk not to dare attack him or else. In the episode "Underworld," Beyonder confronts Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, and Loki after their journey into the NYC Underworld as Hulk lunges towards him. Beyonder demonstrates his abilities by splitting the Hulk and Bruce Banner apart before sending them to the other parts of Battleworld. Beyonder then tells Iron Man, Thor, and Loki to stick to being part of his experiment or else they'll get what Hulk got. Later on, the Avengers split into two groups to defeat Beyonder and his forces. He tries to kill Dr. Jane Foster by sinking her but with Thor's hammer, she becomes Lady Thor and defeats Beyonder Once and For all.

Initially, it was depicted as the ultimate powerhouse within the Marvel Comics multiverse, possessing unparalleled power and authority. It was considered the absolute ruler of the "Beyond Realm," surpassing all others in its dominion. Overwhelmed by this overwhelming influx of energy, he crumbled to the ground, unable to bear its weight. Additionally, during his confrontation with the Molecule Man, the Beyonder seemed to be hindered and slowed down in battle. There have been occasions where he has either partially or completely lost his powers, some of which were orchestrated by his own actions. In fact, he himself admitted that the Puma, when in perfect harmony with the Universe, possessed the ability to potentially kill him. Interestingly, the Beyonder once attempted to become a superhero by confronting a superpowered biker gang but chose to limit his powers to better align with the world around him.
Following the departure of his creator, Jim Shooter, from Marvel, writer-editor Tom DeFalco took it upon himself to make significant changes to the character known as the Beyonder. These alterations included a notable reduction in his immense power, stripping him of his nearly omnipotent status. Additionally, DeFalco also made the decision to enhance the abilities of various cosmic entities who were previously considered to be inferior to the Beyonder in terms of power. These modifications were made in tandem with the intention of reshaping the hierarchy and dynamics within the Marvel universe.
However, despite the circumstances, the Beyonder managed to preserve his extraordinary abilities to reshape and control the fundamental aspects of existence, granting him unparalleled dominion over matter, energy, and the very fabric of reality itself. These powers were so formidable that they transcended the capabilities of all but the mightiest and most influential cosmic beings in the universe.
The Beyonder displayed immense power when he easily repelled Galactus, comparing the act to squashing a bug. In fact, he even surpassed the energy collected by Galactus' World-Ship. During the first Secret Wars, he casually destroyed an entire galaxy to fulfill his desires, and later went on to create a whole universe from his own being. When the Beyonder was extracted from Kosmos by the Molecule Man, their battle unfolded in more than three spatial dimensions and posed a grave threat to the entire multiverse. In her 'Maker' form, Kosmos possessed the ability to reverse The Crunch, which would essentially collapse the entire universe. However, it is important to note that the Beyonder's level of power was still deemed inferior to that of the Living Tribunal, Eternity, the Celestials, or the Molecule Man when he was free from his emotional weaknesses.
Following the revelation that The Beyonder was actually a progeny of the enigmatic race known as the Beyonders, his character underwent a retcon, which portrayed him as a child of this powerful group. In subsequent storylines, The Beyonder was depicted as having reached adulthood and engaging in interactions with a gathering of these enigmatic beings. As a result, it can be assumed that his powers were immensely upgraded to match the magnitude of the Beyonders themselves. In a shocking turn of events, a collective of these Beyonders successfully managed to eliminate both the Living Tribunal and all of the Celestials within the expansive Marvel multiverse, showcasing the extraordinary extent of their power. However, it should be noted that despite these astonishing abilities, The Beyonder was acknowledged to be significantly less formidable than the entire multiversal entity known as the Phoenix Force.
