~ Bhayankar Pari |
Bhali Pari, better known as Bhayankar Pari, is the main antagonist of the Indian fantasy series Baalveer. She is the self-proclaimed "Queen of Evil" and an extremely powerful evil fairy who desires to rule over Pari Lok (Realm of Fairies) and Earth, and in the process enslave children into her own soldiers for her evil army.
She is portrayed by Shama Sikander in the first few episodes and Shweta Kawatra in the rest of the episodes.
Biography[]
It is shown that Bhayankar Pari is actually Bhali Pari, a good fairy who helps the other fairies. She was given the title as the "Best Fairy in Pari Lok", due to this. Later, she started developing a great wish of being the heiress of the throne of Maa Pari, the first queen of Pari Lok and the mother of all fairies. In order to accomplish this goal, Bhali Pari tries to be even more better than before, like sacrificing even if she doesn't want to. All other fairies then started to believe that Bhali Pari would surely become the next queen.
At last, the coronation day came, and Maa Pari was informing everybody that the time has come for her to leave Pari Lok, and to crown the fairy who is purely good at heart. In order to choose a suitable fairy, Maa Pari starts walking between each and every fairy to decide. Meanwhile, Taraz and Naraz Pari was discussing that if Bhali Pari becomes the queen, they would be her ministers for sure. Maa Pari returns to her throne to call out the name of the fairy, whom she have decided to be the next queen, but unfortunately, she calls out Bahuroopi Pari's name. Bhali Pari was heartbroken and cheated due to this, and thus, she planned her revenge on the fairies.
She decides to finally leave Pari Lok, and heads to Bhayanak Lok, a realm containing mountains and volcanoes, where only darkness remains. There, she sets up her own palace and rules over Bhayanak Lok. She then takes on the name of 'Bhayankar Pari' and self-proclaims herself as the Queen of Evil.
For the next couple of years, Bhayankar Pari would then be in search for the 'child blessed by the Pari Tara' (Fairy Star), a powerful artifact of the fairies which can defy the very laws of nature itself. This child would then be in a Rajasthani family, taken care by a human couple. Bhayankar Pari would finally discover the child, and try to kidnap it by disguising herself as a village lady, then magically putting the couple asleep. Unfortunately, Rani Pari's arrival foils her plans, and the two wage an all-out war against each other. In the ensuing battle, Bhayankar wins, as Rani Pari is defeated, but the chaos generated gives a bystander woman to take the child to safety. Enraged at losing the child from her grasp, Bhayankar swears vengeance against the fairies.
Appearance[]
Before her resurrection, Bhayankar Pari had cobalt eyes with curly brown hair. Her gown was completely brown with blue sleeves, and her crown had a horn-like design, which signified her evilness.
Bhayankar Pari (After resurrection)[]
After her resurrection, Bhaynakar Pari had black eyes and black hair. Her gown was black, with golden patterns on the chest. Her crown now resembles an actual crown, with a slightly rusted appearance, signifying her seemingly undisputed status as the Queen of Evil. Her gown resembles like an eagle. Having long since fused her original wand staff with Bawandar Pari's wand, she has permanently wielded it as her own.
Personality[]
Bhayankar Pari is very cunning and arrogant. She treats people very much hostilely. She is always ready to go at any ends or even do anything only to accomplish her goal. At the same time, she is headstrong and determind to change her opinions. Besides, she really enjoys torturing people especially if they are at the side of good.
Bhayankar Pari is highly crafty because of which she is considered to be the Master Manipulator of Pari Lok, in one of the episodes, Bhayankar Pari plans to take over and invade Pari Lok by one of her plans, she acts as if she is very much 'depressed' of her bad deeds. She falls on Baalveer's feet and begs him to bring her back to Bhali Pari, Baalveer is unaware that this is one of her plans to manipulate him, and takes her back to Pari lok. As Bhali Pari, she is kind and friendly with the other fairies, she is calm and collected and always wishes the other fairies to be more happeir than her. She helps others too. She is shown to be brave, clever and strong. She was purely good at heart.
Following her rebirth, she still retains much of her original personality as before, with the only difference being much more vengeful and aggressive than her previous self. In her own words, her cunningness and deception are the same, while only the 'player' has changed.
As the self-proclaimed Queen of Evil, she believes that all the evil fairies must answer to her will and call, and finds it extremely annoying when someone tries to challenge her authority. The only thing that can actually enrage her is especially when someone tries to call themselves as the Queen of Evil, which causes her to lash out with her full power. However, her overconfidence is also one of her biggest flaws, as it was due to it that she was incinerated into ashes by Mahabhasm Pari, and imprisoned in a coffin by Daityani.
