Buford "Biff" Howard Tannen is one of the main antagonists of Back to the Future: The Animated Series that set after the events of the Movies (though stated to be splinter timeline by word of god) with his redemption seemly ignored and having an son named Biff Tannen Junior with him constantly causing trouble to the heroes in various episodes.
He voiced by Thomas F. Wilson who reprises his role from the movies.
Appearance[]
Biff Tannen has a different appearance in the show than in the movies with him only retaining his haircut from the first film. He has an extremely exaggerated long neck and chin with a red shirt with some yellow on there, blue pants and shoes that are blue and yellow.
Personality[]
He pretty much has the same personality as his movie counterpart in the first film where he serves as a petty bully who often bullies people and call them butt-heads. However not only he still picks on the McFlys he also picks on the Brown family at as well.
He is also massively incompetent and stupid, not getting science and history stuff.
Though he has some care for his son Biff Tannen Junior though he tries to help him follow his footsteps and encourages him bullying others.

Biff Tannen is a frequently common antagonist in episodes that are sent in present day as he attempts to cause trouble for the McFlys and/or Browns such aa family rivalry with the McFly’s such as using an old deed one his ancestors forcing Mcfly's ancestors forced to sign over a ranch and attempt to tear it down for an oilfield or him stealing the inventions of the Browns such as an Real Money Tree to get rich.

- Biff Tannen along with Clara Brown are only characters from the cartoon who voiced by their movie actors. Not counting Doc Brown as while his movie actor play live actions segments, he is voiced by someone else in the Animated segments.
- Unlike with his movie counterpart he interacts with Doc Brown and the Brown Family due to him causing trouble for the Browns in various episodes.
- He has an son named Biff Tannen Junior which never was an thing in the films that serve as the archenemy of Jules Brown and Verne Brown. It is unknown who his mother is but likely one from his failed marriages though he has been a bad influence on him due to encountering to follow his footsteps.
- In bumpers Biff Tannen would do unique jokes that usually ends terribly for him comedically. His voice actor Thomas F. Wilson would end up being a comedian ironically.
