Bill Iwaki is a member of the secretive Red Spade gang and an antagonist in episode 3 of Tokusou Exceedraft.
He is played by Takeshi Ishikawa, who also played Captain Garoa in Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman.
Biography[]
One year before Exceedraft was formed, Bill Iwaki held a group of civilians hostage in a building, demanding millions in cash or else he would blow up the building. Despite receiving his ransom money, Iwaki chose to blow up the building anyway, resulting in dozens of deaths including that of Interpol inspector Hideo Kurita, the partner of Hayato Kano. Iwaki was caught by Hayato, but when questioned claimed sole responsibility and kept Red Spade's involvement in the plan, along with his membership in them, a secret.
However, Red Spade still sought to eliminate him to tie up loose ends. One year later, they recruited Kenzo Kurita, the father of Hideo Kurita, in a plan to hold a building for ransom in exchange for the police handing over Iwaki to them. Kurita went along with the plan to get revenge for his son, not realizing that Red Spade were the ones truly responsible for his death. Kurita, assisted by two Humanoids, took a building full of civilians hostage and demanded Iwaki be handed over to them or else the building would be blown up with the captured civilians inside. This led Exceedraft to question Iwaki again, but Iwaki claimed to not know anything, although Hayato spotted his spade tattoo on one of his fingers.
Kurita would later be caught and confess to being roped into the plan by a mysterious man with a spade tattoo. At the same time, Iwaki mysteriously committed suicide.
