I once knew a n**ga whose real name was William
His primary concern was making a million
Being the illest hustler that the world ever seen,
he used to fuck movie stars and sniff coke in his dreams
~ The Narrator on Billy Jacobs.
He turned away from the woman that had once given him birth
And cryin' out to the sky, 'cause he was lonely and scared
But only the Devil responded, 'cause God wasn't there
And right then he knew what it was to be empty and cold
And so he jumped off the roof and died with no soul

Biography[]

Billy Jacobs grew up with no father and a mother who was a drug addict, circumstances which would greatly impact him. While his mother eventually stopped using drugs, Billy's heart grew colder over time, leading to his desire of becoming a dangerous hustler. He began his criminal career by selling drugs, even dropping out of school to sell marijuana full-time, and also started having one-night stands with young girls and smoking drugs around that time. Through this, Billy earned the reputation he wanted, but got arrested once and went to jail. He did not hesitate to turn informant, and thus his sentence was reduced.

However, Billy also lost respect from the criminals he hung out with, so he started doing anything to regain it, by means of robbery, starting fights and drug dealing. Still, gangsters looked down on him, telling him that any "coward" can sell drugs, anyone with a gun can kill, but a "real" thug could stab someone and kill them. To prove himself, they suggested raping a woman. Encouraged by his desire of becoming rich, Billy decided to carry out the gang initiation.

He met with the gang on a rainy Friday night, at 2:45. They drove around the projects, while smoking, drinking and joking, looking for a target. At 3:00 in the morning, they saw a woman walking alone on the street on her way home from work. Quietly, they got out of the car and followed her into the darkness to attack her, wrapping her shirt around her head and knocking her onto the floor. Billy grabbed the woman by her hair, and together with the gang, dragged her into a lobby with no people, forcing her to go up the stairs despite her struggling. They got to the roof and held her down on the ground. Billy began stomping on her until he broke her jaw, while the others kicked her until cracking her ribs and rendering her unable to move. The gang began to violently rape the woman, with Billy going first and choking her.

After the rape, one of the gangsters pulled out a gun for Billy to kill her. Billy thought about it for a minute. Seeing that the woman was practically dead and thinking about all the drugs and riches he wanted, Billy put the gun to her head and got ready to shoot her as a final act of his initiation. He then pulled back the shirt covering her head and made a shocking discovery: the woman whom he had just assaulted, raped, and was about to murder was none other than his own mother. He began to remember how she used to come home late from work when he was young. It was then that Billy realized the consequences of the life he had chosen to live. Overcome with guilt and grief, he jumped off the roof to his death. The other gang members shot her and never spoke of it again.
