Billy Ray Snapper is a major antagonist in The Devil's Rejects. He is a bounty hunter and member of the Unholy Two gang along with his partner Rondo.

He was portrayed by Diamond Dallas Page.

Biography

Billy Ray and Rondo were hired by Sheriff John Quincy Wydell to track down and apprehend the three members of the murderous Firefly Family, being Otis B. DriftwoodBaby Firefly, and Captain Spaulding.

Billy Ray and Rondo tracked Otis, Baby, and Spaulding to Charlie Altamont's brothel. Billy Ray, Rondo, and Sheriff Wydell then started to raid Charlie's brothel to apprehend Otis, Baby, and Spaulding. Billy Ray killed a prostitute named Candy by shooting her in the forehead when she pulled a gun on him, but then fought Otis and ultimately threw him through a window.

After Otis, Baby, and Spaulding are apprehended, Billy Ray and Rondo depart while Sheriff Wydell takes Otis, Baby, and Spaulding to their house so he can kill them.

Sometime later, his partner Rondo was arrested and taken to prison. It is unknown what happened to Billy Ray when Rondo ended up in prison, but he either ended up in prison as well, got killed, or is still at large.

Trivia

  • In 3 From Hell, Billy Ray does not appear nor is mentioned. Dallas Page was interested in returning for the third film, unfortunately Rob Zombie didn't have room for him as he couldn't think of a way to naturally include him in the story. As a result, Billy Ray's fate is left ambiguous.
