Billy the Clown, possessed by Ashley Parks, is a supporting antagonist in the analog horror web series The Walten Files.
He is an animatronic clown and a major tool incorporated into Felix Kranken's plan to preserve his innocence. He is possessed by Ashley Parks, a technician for Bunny Smiled Incorporated and a victim of Bon, who stuffed her inside of Billy after she discovered the conspiracy to tie up all possible lose ends that would lead to Felix's exposure.
He is voiced by Manny204553 and Martin Walls.
Appearance[]
The Walten Files/The Mysterious House[]
Billy, in both fictional and animatronic form, appears as a clown with white makeup, green clothes with a yellow button up shirt, and a toothless smile on his face. The clothes have red gloves, boots, buttons and squeaky clown nose paired with it. His hair is also a red afro.
In his animatronic form we're shown, he's eyeless, and some black streaks are below his eyes. His right glove has completely withered off, and he has tiny tears in his left leg. He also contains a cassette player within his stomach, possibly created as use for playing backing tracks for the animatronics.
In his fictional appearances, his smile is much more exaggerated, and he has white dots within in his eye sockets. He may also sometimes have blue face paint on his eyes and red on his lips, but this is only shown in The Mysterious House.
Boozoo's Ghosts[]
The Sad Ghost of Past Experiences is much taller and thinner in form, with extremely long arms, legs, hands, and eyes. His clothes are green like Billy, but his gloves, buttons and neckwear are now yellow. He now wears a hat a green night cap with a yellow star pattern on it, which partially covers his afro. His clothes now more closely resemble a blouse, with yellow, fluffy furnishings near his arm and leg holes. He is still eyeless, but has two, drawn on tears on his face, and a wide frown that turns into a grimacing one when he reveals his true form. During his song sequence, white eyes with black pupils form in the sockets. The tears on his face also become black streaks during this transformation. He also has a candy cane-like pattern on his arms that is green and yellow.
Personality[]
The Walten Files/The Mysterious House[]
Billy as an animatronic, both before and after it was possessed, does not have a personality. All that we have seen from Ashley post-mortem is her simply trying to show the state of being she's in, and nothing more. She also may show emotion through Billy, but this is only usually sadness.
In fictional depictions, Billy is shown to also be a mostly quiet character, with a purposefully silly and nerdy sounding voice. He is also shown to be slightly sarcastic, but still extremely caring about the tasks given to him.
Boozoo's Ghosts[]
In the very beginning of his appearance, you can hear the Sad Ghost Of Past Experiences crying, and only gets sadder when Boozoo shows no remorse for his actions. He is accusatory, and speaks as if he already knows the answers to the questions he asks (which he does.) He tries to give Boozoo a chance, seeing some good in him if he recognizes his faults, but Boozoo continuously denies. Eventually, he gets to a point of screaming at Boozoo violently for his denial.
Powers and Abilities[]
The Walten Files[]
Billy is shown to have to have the ability to communicate slightly via video and video games, barely being able to show her current state of being, let alone what happened to her.
Boozoo's Ghosts[]
The Sad Ghost of Past Experiences has the ability to manifest objects, manifest images in mirrors and other glass objects, and shape shift unintentionally when angry.
Biography[]
The Walten Files[]
Pre-1974[]
The Billy animatronic was created and built in some secrecy outside of the main Showstoppers, and was later left unused.
1974[]
The Billy animatronic is used by Felix Kranken to play a reprogramming cassette tape for Bon, creating a hit list for five people: Jack, Susan, Charles, Rosemary, and Sophie.
1975[]
All merchandise and animatronics from Bon's Burgers are moved to a storage bunker located in Saint Juana's Forest in Brighton, Michigan, called K-9. This movement of merchandise included Billy. They are kept there due to the shutdown of the restaurant after the many incidents that have taken place, of Bunny Smiles Incorporated and Cyberfun Tech's accord.
1978[]
Between July 12th-July 14th, three volunteer BSI technicians are sent to the K-9 facility to reprogram the animatronics, and fail. Ashley Parks, one of the technicians, makes note of a key she was given that there was no use for. She uses this key on the backdoors, and eventually finds the Billy animatronic, with the reprogramming cassette. She plays the cassette and learns of its nature, and is swiftly killed by Bon and put into Billy because of it.
1982[]
On October 15th, During Sophie Walten's playthrough of the Bon's Burgers section of BunnyFarm, Ashley attempts to communicate by giving her a present that shows an image of her mangled face, which sharply disturbs Sophie.
The Mysterious House[]
Billy appears as a supporting antagonist in the non-canon episode The Mysterious House.
Billy is introduced by The Witch Sheep to Duckie and Tammy, before only appearing again to stare down Tammy in the middle of the living room in darkness at night while she's looking for Duckie.
Boozoo's Ghosts[]
Billy appears as one of the secondary antagonists of the Christmas-themed non-canon episode Boozoo's Ghosts.
After Boozoo wakes up in the middle of the night to find presents in his tree (despite hating Christmas), he opens one of the gifts to find a clown toy in it, before being presented the first door he needs to enter. He hears a baby crying from the other side, and decides to go in. The crying continues until he sees a very large Christmas present, which them ushers him to come closer. Boozoo does this, and the lid of the present comes off, revealing the ghost. Boozoo asks who he is, and the ghost answers, while crying, that he's the Sad Ghost of Past Experiences. He then tells Boozoo that he is going to show him the past. Boozoo questions why this needs to happen, and the already big frown on his face grows larger. He tells Boozoo he has been a bad person, stealing and lying to people, but Boozoo denies this. The ghost tells Boozoo not to lie to him. The ghost then proceeds to a sing a song to him about not lying to himself, or the ghost, and to accept that he's done bad things in his life. After this song, Boozoo attempts to interject, before the ghost continues, explaining that Boozoo as a child was never given presents, and never celebrated Christmas, implying his family was neglectful or mediocre to him. Boozoo asks how he knows this, before the ghost continues to say that the past can lead to future actions, and how Boozoo has time to fix his mistakes. Boozoo denies that he has to fix anything, and denies that he's lying about it, arguing with the ghost. This quickly angers him, before he starts shouting at Boozoo violently, telling him he's going to burn in hell, before he ejects him to the second door he needs to enter to meet the second ghost, The Jolly Ghost of Present Times.
