Biography[]
She is the ex-wife of Earl, a loud, trashy and overbearing woman who hides her greed and ambition under the guise of false kindness. Binky’s primary motivation is her obsession with wealth, which she hopes to achieve by stealing her brother-in-law Jim’s collection of bobbleheads.
Among the collection, the most coveted figure is the extremely valuable Purrbles McCat, which she schemes to take for herself. To carry out her plan, she pretends to be a helpful house-sitter, using deceit and manipulation to gain access to the home while secretly plotting her theft.
Binky’s personality is defined by arrogance, dishonesty, and a controlling nature. She has little respect for others, even her ex-husband Earl, whom she often treats poorly, and she tends to view people as tools for her own gain. Her encounters with the bobbleheads reveal her cruelty and stubborn determination, as she attempts to outwit and overpower them.
She becomes the arch-nemesis of Kelani, one of the bobbleheads, which highlights her role as the central villain of the story. Binky’s selfishness and greed are emphasized through her actions, such as attempting to steal or replicate bobbleheads, attacking them when she feels threatened, and relentlessly pursuing her goal of becoming rich at any cost.
Despite her scheming nature, Binky is not a mastermind but rather a brash and reckless antagonist whose overconfidence often exposes her flaws. Her exaggerated personality makes her both a comedic and menacing figure, with her antics adding to the chaotic humor of the film. Voiced by Jennifer Coolidge, she is brought to life with a distinct flair that captures her blend of obnoxious charm and ruthless determination, making Binky a memorable villain in the world of animated comedy.
Personality[]
Binky has a personality driven almost entirely by greed and selfishness. She is brash, loud, and unapologetically trashy, carrying herself with an inflated sense of confidence that often borders on delusion. Her false charm and manipulative tendencies allow her to disguise her intentions when it suits her, but her greed and impatience quickly break through any façade she tries to maintain. She treats others as stepping stones to her own goals, showing little to no genuine care for anyone, not even her ex-husband Earl, whom she dismisses and belittles whenever convenient.
Her arrogance makes her reckless, and she tends to underestimate those around her, including the bobbleheads she sees as nothing more than toys to be stolen. This overconfidence fuels her downfall, as she rarely considers the consequences of her actions. At the same time, her over-the-top behavior gives her a comedic edge, turning her villainy into something chaotic and unpredictable. She thrives on control, always trying to assert dominance in situations, but her impulsive nature prevents her from being a truly effective mastermind. Ultimately, her personality is a mix of greed, arrogance, dishonesty, and shameless boldness, making her both an amusing and frustrating antagonist.
