Bio-Men, also known as the Bio-Soldiers, are minor antagonists from the Dragon Ball Z movie Dragon Ball Z: The World's Strongest.
Biography[]
Bio-Men were created by the scientists Dr. Wheelo and Dr. Kochin to help them in their evil plans. Bio-Men have dark blue and grey skin and bear resemblance to the Saibamen, but unlike them, the Bio-Men can speak and have overall greater intelligence but are also weaker than them. They are mostly used in easier missions such as kidnapping and facing weaker opponents.
The Bio-Men first appeared when they ambushed Gohan and Oolong, managing to overpower Gohan, but were stopped and beaten by Piccolo easily who killed one of them with a mouth energy wave. The remaining ones were saved by the much stronger bio-warriors Ebifurya, Kishime and Misokatsun. Later, the Bio-Men were sent to Kame House in order to invite Master Roshi to their lab. When he refused they tried to attack him but were easily defeated by him. However, one of them managed to grab Bulma and Dr. Kochin threatened to kill her if Roshi does not follow them. This was their last appearance in the film.
The Bio-Men appeared briefly in Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn along with many other villains who escaped from Hell.
Powers and Abilities[]
The Bio-Men possess enough power and speed to deal with average humans and fighters but they are weak compared to the likes of Master Roshi and Piccolo. Since this movie is a parallel of the Saiyan Saga in which Master Roshi was stated to have a power level of 139 (at least in his suppressed form) the Bio-Men should be below that as they were easily bested by him. They managed to overpower Gohan, even though it mostly happened because they caught him by surprise. That makes them weaker than their lookalikes Saibamen who were said to be equal to Raditz. They have however unique abilities and high intelligence for Bio-Creations such as the ability to speak.
